Actually I did record a bit with Phase one. What happened is that she summoned the godskins while he was still in phase one, with the result that he was absolutely overwhelmed in phase 2

Nerfing the godskin matriarch was definitely needed she was so op last time lol, side note rennala would probably do better if her second phase was available because the spirit summons help tank damage

Radahn without thar crappy slam is actually a force of nature. That one combo attack hurts him so much in these fights.

It's unbelievable that the Elden Beast was able to hit nearly 60% of the Godskin Trio's HP with less than 10% health. I swear if it hadn't been stunned at 08:36 it would have done so much more. Anyway, I'm still impressed, my favorite boss

Most importantly, elden beast is 2nd phase of radagon, so there shouldn't have been a health reset

I think people would have been less angry than what we have now. Cause at least there's something new in this boss and has a bit of depth to it. Even though it would be very hard, I think they would have hated it less. For this boss, a good strategy would be kill Matriarch first, because she would be low health when she summons the other two. Play defensive and only focus on her. Then, kill Godskin Apostle without triggering Noble's 2nd phase and kill Noble alone. It will feel like an actual planning. But, currently the situation is, "Here fight two problematic boss you already fought before together. And they respawn."

I don't think it would be too hard, when the Matriarch starts to summon the Godskin duo she's a sitting duck so you can hit her with ashes of war. And the Godskin appear right next to her so having them all bunched up together like that makes it easy to deplete their hp. Like if you ran up them as they appear and spammed the Wing of Astel or Rivers of Blood, or if you fires off Comet Azure, you'd probably nail all 3 of them at the same time and deal some serious damage.

It’s always funny to me how the Laser Golem is considered a boss even while being labeled a normal enemy by Fromsoft.

@@Urd-Vidan and yet his reputation has him more feared than half the bosses in Bloodborne, to the point it's generally accepted the only way to deal with him is by cheesing him with poison knives. He may not be a boss in the literal sense, but he's practically treated like one by the community.

@@occultnightingale1106 .....it's still a Player character NPC. I mean, there's Bosses that are Player character NPCs, but the unique Boss character are kinda just literally built different. Crow is hard and has some lore, but that's it, it's also not a boss, like the Laser Golem(in Laser Golem's part, tbf, it's not really too hard, it's just very tanky af and is pretty unique compared to the other Golems because of his full kit, that's it). It's just a hard AI invasion NPC.

@@qualiswilliams7403 to be fair, the destined death transition is insanely cool and her not having it is a huge nerf in terms of damage output. Not to mention he had to nerf her poise to give an even better chance to the other bosses.

Nice video! Them three merge so good together. And I love Malenia's fight, it was like a dance.

I like the godskin matriarch's moveset, but I don't like the idea behind her. She isn't the Gloam-Eyed Queen, and if she is one of the latter's creations, her phase 2 should also be connected to something she can do with her skin.

She wasn't created by the Gloam-Eyed Queen, nor was she born an Apostle. Her backstory states that she was stolen away at birth to be groomed into becoming the new leader of the current Godskins, but instead of going after Maliketh to restore the black flame's power, she sought the cursemark of death that formed on Ranni's dead body because it had traces of destined death in it. This plays in part with why in the vanilla game there is a Godskin Noble guarding that same tower. Her backstory also implies she is human, which explains why she doesn't do any stretchy moves like the Apostle or Noble.

@@badhabits8492 not at all. Unlike those others radahn is mostly carried by that one ability and it's only a one time thing. The others have plenty of abilities and get rid of rot bomb and malenia is still soloing most of everything. He is only carried by meteor nowadays

Love watching boss fights in this arena it gives every fighter such a pristine level of importance

Rennalla with a Niall style start where she automatically starts by summoning all of her summons vs bosses could be real cool! Could also fix her AI that makes her attack infrequently when summons are on field.

The way you choreograph these fights is mesmerizing. I could watch them all day.

I like this arena but Radahn should have been given the opportunity to attack long distances, that is one of his advantages

22:56 I FEEL SO CHEATED 😭 that aside, frankly, after how absolutely devastating those radahn, placidusax, and godfrey fights were, i was ecstatic to see malenia, mohg, and maliketh do well. was internally yelling for malenia to utilise her sudden hyperarmour attacks the whole time lol. that nihil was absolutely clutch, too. glad to see at least someone beat the trio.

I don’t know if the game could actually handle this but I’d LOVE to see an all out war between every Godskin (as in, the OG’s and new one’s added in this mod) and every Demigod. So basically, Godskin Noble, Apostle, Matriarch, Dragonslayer and Executioner vs Godrick, Radahn, Rykard, Morgott, Mohg and Malenia.

No clue why this isnt mentioned in the description or anything but for those curious, the godskin matriarch is a boss added by the convergence mod, strongly recommend giving the mod a try if as it adds quite alot more than just the matriarch. easily best ER mod.
