I'm British and havs enjoyed the curling during the olympics so far. I'm glad I didn't see this before the GB v USA game as the US team are very likeable!
Great intro to curling. Yes they make it look easy on tv. It’s a fun game that everyone can play
Would have loved to have seen Clay also team up with Jared Allen on this one. Have Clay learn how he managed to pick up the game quickly and start playing competitively.
This is actually pretty cool and informative, it looks tougher than I thought
What a great group of guys. They seem very welcoming and fun to hang with.
Curling is quite amusing actually. I grew up in Canada and one day in elementary school, our p.t. teacher brought us to a curling ring in our small town. We almost killed one guy that day (had we not warned the very old man that a stone was going to hit him at great speed) but it was fun!
This was awesome! Glad the team is and dope as they are
My grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Guiney was a champion curler. My dad had all these really nicely crafted medals he'd won. They usually had an image of a stone with two brooms crisscrossing it. As a kid I thought it was two brooms with a vacuum cleaner.

As a Canadian I'm a huge fan of Team USA curling! It's always fun to see people try out curling! Just as an FYI, a hogged rock means it didn't cross the hog line (the lines to keep rocks in play). A rock that's been touched while sweeping is called a burnt rock. This whole video was so much fun to watch tbh!
I love watching curling and I would love to try it one day. When I tell that to others, they always think I'm crazy! I knew this sport was super cool and a lot harder than it looks!
This made curling look like a blast

I think he'd be a bit more successful on stability with the broom by keeping it more perpendicular to himself. Notice how she holds her broom out more to the side than he does at the beginning. He seemed to do well with the stablizer. Love seeing the focus on curling. It really is a fun sport.

I mean, now I just want to do this to meet cool people like these guys. Sounds like a rad time.
Haven't tried it since I was a kid. I remember that exact thing. Staying balanced is hard and not sliding everywhere. The weird feeling is that once the rock starts going, it feels like it is heavier than you are sort of. Once you've built up the momentum - your stuck with it. It's very hard.
Man its almost like having the worlds greatest curlers teach you how to play will do a lot for your skill
