I have the same max on order and I ordered the same controller yesterday. Glad to see it worked good for you. I think I'm gonna try to mount the main box somewhere else because I'm planning on putting a heater in that location

I hooked mine and for some reason the on and off button is not working, the panel comes on but the center button is not responding. I hope it keeps my battery from draining.

I love that installation location. I found your video searching for voswitch X3. I'm very glad to find another cheap brand to consider. Excellent video!

I Have a broken one on my x3 spend the extra money on something more durable. I put 230 miles on my car in Utah and the light pod was cool the first day but by the second day the fuse box is busted…. I’m getting a switchpro sp9100 as its replacement 🤞🏻

I would stay with the 8 as you can put blank stickers over the unused ones. I have one in my Jeep as well, and it has been fine with water.

I have a heater that has a high and low can it be hooked to this or would the fan only be one speed

It depends if you have input options on the heater. Each switch has a 12V output. If your heater has a 12v for low and a 12v for high, you would need to use 2 switches.

What is the part number for this kit

Is it possible to change the background color of the panel on this?

They do have an RGB led version now.

No issues with this? I’ve seen people say they’ve have multiple units get sent out to them because switches are constantly on even if clicking them off, if it is a common problem I’ll most likely just go my original route with switch pros

I have not had any issues with either one I have. I have one on my Jeep as well and so far it has been working great.

So when my brother passed away in Afghanistan, he left me with his x3 and I'm trying to make it Street Legal here in Florida... I like the 8 Switch thing but there is a hole under neath the storage area that looks like I can just put in another pannel... I've looked for on but can't find anything... can you suggest anything?

My condolences but is it under the start button? If so you may be able to put a panel there unless he may have bought a stay flush kit and it had cutouts for different accessories but I wouldn’t be able to tell for certain without seeing it

It doesn’t seem like your code is working.

Hope it’s still working out for you, but does this allow you to strobe the lights?

Yes still works great. It does not support strobe.

what fuse did you tap into for the jumper fuse?

No fuse, directly to the accessorie wire in the center console where the power was hooked up.

Have you had any problems with the switch panel yet?

What kind of switch pod did you get
