Can a Nissan Versa beat a Corvette?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Matt always buys impractical cars and tries to justify them as practical, even though they are far from it. Dan makes him put his money where his mouth is by holding a practicality challenge against the most practical car in the US: a base Nissan Versa.

I know this is a 4 year old comment but you can't buy a brand new Corvette for $15k. That's the point of the versa, it's a well optioned, roomy daily driver. You get the most bang for your buck as far as having reliable, efficient transportation. Of course a Corvette is better, it's a fucking Corvette lol. They're both great at what they're designed to do. Ideally you'd have both, versa for commuting/not wearing out your Vette. Corvette for burnouts and fun stuff. Unless you're rich, then daily a lotus fuck it

What about the street and how do you know he doesn't have MULTIPLE cars parked on the street just to make room for this video? Your observation skills are pretty terrible man lol. I keep my vette parked in the driveway and my camaro parked on the street. I keep my GSXR hidden in the backyard. Basically what i'm saying is his vette isn't a daily driver. Driving it on the street doesn't make it a daily driver. Driving it every day to school and work is a daily driver lol.

If you can afford the Z06, the only reason to get a base C5 is a) you'll be changing the engine so much that it's not worth investing in a Z06, or b) you want it to be a convertible sometimes. If you don't care about the targa roof, go for the Z06. In either case, buy the best car you can afford.

I always liked the 850 R wagon with a stick, rare car and lots of fun to drive. It's too bad I don't like the new "R" series volvo's as much as those. Hopefully Geely will put some character back into them.

I do have an open invite for DD to come on the show when he's out here. If not, Dan and Zack are TST Interns/writers and will be making quite a few appearances on the show in the future.

I got no experience with 2-strokes, (an embarassing fact, I know), but scooters of all kinds are just such good fun, and a great, cheap way to get around. Every time I ride the Vespa I feel like I'm on Vacation.

No one gave me this show, I created it from nothing. It takes a ton of hard work 7 days a week just to put out one 15 minute video. If you don't like what I do, then I absolutely, 100% welcome you to try to do better. As for my car, well I guess it's a matter of taste, but I did what I did because the car drives better now than it did from the factory, and that's all that matters. The headlights help with the aero at night, the popups are like parachutes.
