Nice video, my first ever balloon flight (1970’s) was with Kevin Meehan at Holker Hall in Cumbria, we landed Tigerjack (which was a vent controlled balloon at the time) back on the trailer on the field that we took off from.

Thanks for sharing all the wind directions. That was really interesting and informative! I live here in Albuquerque where we are known for the Albuquerque Box and I crew for POLAR DAWN during Dawn Patrol at Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta every year.

Ah yes we met on a beautiful launch from fiesta field, the BOX winds with you guys in Albuquerque are something really special, maybe one day there will be 'I flew the world famous abq box ...... ' video 😀 glad you enjoyed the wind indicators, I now have digital mapping and GPS so might be able to include some of that soon
