I think it is also because she got offended by the way some fans portrayed her. In some fanfics she was always the "man in the relationship" but she doesn't want to be. And I understand that, because in a two-girl relationship no one really has to be the man, and it is quite uncomfortable for a feminist and feminine being like Lauren to be given masculine attributes.

@@thebinlgbtisbabadook7832 to be honest if camren was real, its more likely that c was the "man" in that scenario.. i mean L looks good dressing up as the "guy" but C just feels like it idk... and as lauren says she is not that type that is portrayed in the fanfic... and seriously, some of the fanfics are too weird and kind of too much to borderline degrading to C and L so i kinda feel for her in that context but then there are some fanfics that are just too well written and just an all around good story.. its better than some of the novels that are being released nowadays...

a friend of mine used to laugh at my jokes a lot.. i mean its not even a joke sometimes and she would just laugh to a point that it just makes me silently wonder... we were really close and then some people started asking us about our closeness and “friendship”.. we are both single and unattached at that time... that was the beginning of the end of that friendship, we got awkward to each other to a point where she just stops talking to me for months... so maybe camren really was just friendship and the fans kinda ruined it bcoz of the rumors but then... i might have had a slight crush on that friend of mine before soooo... if camren was just a totally platonic friendship to both sides.. then i think it shouldve been no problem to both of them if they were sure it is just friendship....
