minute 1:13 = maybe those beds supports could be installed at both sides of the trailer and just folding down like wings when need it , instead storage under the trailer and make that extra effort... in the front of the trailer also could be another panel that folds down to make a base for coolers and camping gear elevated from the floor. It could be a good improvement for make the setup more faster and simple. . But anyways is a great trailer , congratulations !

Not in the market right now, but I would love this. benefits that I see is that tent is up off the ground providing protection from rocks, sticks, roots, etc. that may cause punctures. More difficult for critters to get in. Rainwater and snow won't get in. Multi use of the trailer. One thing I would like to have made for it would be a floored vestibule that clips onto the tent frame to store wet clothing and footwear and camping equipment. Maybe someday I will buy one.

As a bow hunter the usefulness of this is obvious. I could bring in everything I need and have a nice dry huge tent to boot. Plus haul my trophy out. All for little spend. Great design idea.

I simply fabricated a rack onto my utility trailer with the roof top tent on top. This way I can drive the side by side under the rack, I do like the size of this tent.

I really like the design, being off the ground. But I wonder how long it really takes to set it up? That might be a factor when it's raining cats and dogs.

Intelligent use of music to help us gloss over the tedium of that set-up. How much weight can one side of the trailer sleep area bear before it tips over?

LOTS of room left on the trailer bed for loading all the gear you'd ever need. Nice solution.

This would be great for people that dirt bike, ATV, etc, which I assume is the demographic this is geared towards. As an owner of a pop up camper, it looks like there are a lot of steps. I can set my camper up in under 10 minutes real time.

think of doing this in the RAIN putting up or tacking down. I do a lot camping and after a 800 mi in the RAIN 13,000 ft to 10,000 ft to camp my camper is nice to set up.

Wow cool. When i build mine im gonna use the same concept but try to cut the set up time down by atleast 75% thanks for the idea guys!

A lot of people are very negative to thus design. I think it's great! The big thing I think is people are comparing it to a pop up, and its not. Not much different than a normal tent, you just have to set up your platform to get you off the ground.

I think it could have been a little more simplified in some areas. I think if you get yo a camp site a bit later in the evening, and your fight day light it’s not something that I would want to have to put up in the dark is all..

Can I get just the trailer without the tent? I can think of a few other uses for this trailer but no tent needed

Nice design.... big game hunters should be a great market for you .

The tent reminds me of the truck bed style you put up...and they also can come with wings. However, if that metal rack that pulls out is too heavy, it could be hard for a woman to use, put back together especially...and that is difficult..or there was a lot of mud on the trail...which does happen! and under rack can get rather, well, grunged up and stuck. I could do it, but looks rather heavy at that point.... I would also worry with kids around about dropping that deck when pulling it out...little feet etc like to get in the way by standing too close. No matter what, kids DO find a way to get IN the way. How heavy is the tent material, is it also rated for winter use? Would be a great back up if needed. A good fly for those long rainy days would be good too. I see this does not have one. Also would suggest some netting inside for storage once tent is up. For glasses, hanging up a lantern inside..etc. Would add to the overall enjoyment of that nice tent. One hates to have to add sewing etc once you get a tent that costs that much. Nice idea, On a windy or rainy day, this would take a long time to set up...but it is very sturdy and should take rougher adventures. I am sure you have thought about just about every option to be unique...and it looks great! I would suggest a bit more work on the hardware so they don't have such long stems hanging...things can catch on those...no fun. I also like the way you have it easy to hop in and out of. And that the doors DO have a zip bottom...yup, I could see that!:) Nice idea, good job of the metal working aspect too.

I've never seen an ATV on a roof rack but I did help some drinking buddies put a snowmobile on a roof rack one time. Our passed out friend wasn't too happy when he woke up and saw his sled on top of his Suburban.

obviously, you are not meant to sleep on the cold metal fold outs, right? must be really cold/hot depending on where you are. If you intend us to just throw down a sleeping bag, you never intended this for anyone over the age of 35, right? The trailer, before set up doesn't appear to be set up to carry any foam mattresses. It's just open, right? Are the two pieces attached at the tongue ramps as well?

Hello, We recommend customer to purchase air mattress. The floor of the tent is a thicker material. Many of our customers are well over the age of 35 being a multi-use easy setup trailer gives them the opportunity to enjoy the trailer year round.. The two pieces attached to the tongue are ramps. how about adding side rails to the roof of your pop-up and using it for a cargo trailer?

looks like too much work to relax and honestly after a trip, takedown is the last thing I want to do, but l like the compact, portability, and the fact that you can fit more items in the trailer during transport... simplify the structure with more folding supports and less assembly, then combine with one of those folding pop up tents... mark up the price a couple hundred and people may pay for the convenience.... otherwise you can just buy a slick easier pop-up floor tent that takes a fraction of the time.....

This is cool, not much to it compared to a regular tent which can be a pain sometimes

palms408 , makes lots of sense if you have any sense or imagination. Its not just a tent. You can use it for just cargo alone. This is perfect for someone who doesn't want to be directly on the ground. This is great for someone disabled ( such as myself ). I like that you can haul all that you need for camping and not have to use a truck. Excellent concept. Two in one.

palms408, it's no different than having a bunch of regular tents set on the campsite. Only difference, it's off the ground. Haven't camped in a tent in years (usually it's an RV), until just recently this year ( 4th of July week). For me this would be much more easier and faster to set up. I have a fast pitch tent and it still took some time to set up still, also no need to lay down a tarp, nor have to inflate an air bed (in my case). I'm from CA. We go to Silver Lake every year and some camp spots can be too rocky and or bushy/grassy and this year, in this case flooded. Quite a few spots were mushy (two of ours were). This would be a much cleaner tent inside as well. In traveling, we lost a few things, with the truck bed full and kayak trailer to it's capacity (two kayaks and small items). I love the fact, that you can use a Honda civic or VW jetta to pull this around and not just a truck (which I don't have). No need to cram the trunk or backseat with stuff and people. LOL! This would've been perfect to use this year.

12' long front wheels are 6' apart... Rear tire is about 14" wide... the tow hitch says that the max tow weigh is 400lbs...
