It is adventures like this that we designed the new boat for - overnight expeditions to offshore islands in search of massive fish.
With a gap in the notoriously windy Spring weather we loaded up the new @SurteesBoats93 800 Gamefisher with a bunch of new gear from @daiwanewzealand7206 and headed for an offshore fishing paradise - The Mokohinau Islands. As is standard on these trips we were relying on catching our food as we go (we're really starting to enjoy these catch and cooks!), and we are set up for a bunch of different fishing styles and techniques - everything from Softbaiting to Straylining is on the cards!
The plan is to camp on the boat for two days to take advantage of the prime fishing times and man was it worth it!!! I don't want to spoil the story here but lets just say we experienced NZ Fishing at its finest! #BuiltToFish
