This is one of my favourite vlogs. It was so sweet when Joey hugged and kissed you. The love between you and Joey is just everything in this world. I wish someone would produce a biopic of you. The title would be "The King is a Queen" or simply "Angie" because you are genuinely inspiring, down-to-earth, and hardworking. If I only have the money and you permit, I will produce a movie about you. It will be a blockbuster movie, and I know it. Or maybe, you write an autobiography about your journey. That was so much fun. I have lived in the US all my life and I've never seen the giant Sequoia trees. I have seen the 600+ year old tree in Vaucouleurs, France where Joan of Arc’s horse ate some of it’s leaves. BTW, I saw the book you are reading and thought you and Joey might enjoy reading the eBook I wrote as I think you would both really enjoy the surprise ending. It's titled, “Who Killed Who? A Love Story.” If you read it please don't share the surprise ending. And, let me know if you figure out the mystery before reading the last chapter. Thanks for posting your trip adventure!! 😊

We were camping at this campground when we learned that John F. Kennedy Jr.'s plane had gone down in the Atlantic Ocean. It's a really cool place to camp but I will always associate it with that terrible news. Good to see you guys had fun there though :)

I just bought some property 6 more miles down that road from Trail of 100 Giants. The fire was devastating and the road from there to Sequoia Park is gone right now. Maybe fixed in a couple of years. The place is magical and you only saw a small piece. Oh, and there are lions, wolves, and bears.

Angie the real Sequoias, the biggest tree in the world, the Gen Sherman tree is just next town, Visalia. Then drive more to see the majestic Yosemite (the north face logo)

I live in Bakersfield. I know the exact area you went to at the Kern River. BTW, if you didn't already hear, they call it the Killer Kern. Just never really swim in it. A lot of people die in it every year, & unfortunately, most of them are tourists that don't live around here. I'm glad you gals got to check it out. The canyon is a fun road. If you ever come back this way, check out Bodfish, they have a ghost town there that is made up of some of the original buildings near there & outlying areas. Also, please feel free to get ahold of me if you have 2 days or more you'll be spending around here. I'll recommend some spots to eat & other places to check out. Also online ratings aren't everything over here because we have a lot of A-holes give bad reviews just because somebody else tells them to. It's sad. So definitely always ask first. Other than that, hopefully I'll get to go to one of your meets here in Cali if you have one again soon. I can drive to L.A. in my '64 Plymouth. Would love to meet you gals. You are awesome & I love watching your content.

@AngieMeadKing Oh, of course. Explore more. There are tons of things to do in California. If you are ever back this way, look me up on here &.I'll show you gals my 1964 Plymouth. We have a really decent car culture here in Bakersfield. Most are classics, muscle, lowriders, imports, military & 4x4's. Not really exotics, though a Porsche, Ferrari & Lambo do show up once in a great while
