As a single female who actually knows what she’s doing when building, I could not find a single HomeDepot rep to help me place a $4000+ order for materials. This was at 3 different local stores. They just kept asking me if I knew what I was doing and if I was going to do it myself. The store manager actually suggested I send my contractor to place the order. When I told him I was the contractor, he laughed. Needless to say, I prefer Lowes.

I decided to listen to yall's Mexican food music a few times to catch all the words, and it's pretty hilarious. 🤣 ¡A comer! ¡Dame la comida, abuela! ¡Chicharones, papitas fritas! ¡Dame un bistec de cerdo, frijoles negros! Comida vida! To eat! Give me the food, grandma! Pork rinds, French fries! Give me a pork steak, black beans! Food life! I'm a dork! At least I still remember my high school and college Spanish classes. 🤣

After looking up "Dispersed Camping", I summarize the contrast to "primative camping" this way; Viewing from the Federal responsiblity view, there is the 'reserved camping' that is 'collected in known locations; which in an EMERGENCY, like fire, flash flooding, etc., the campers are 'collected'. 'Dispersed camping', is 'outside the CONTROL' and 'DISPERSED' to LOCATE in "CASE OF AN EMERGENCY"! OOPS?

...It's amazing what is important when living a nomad lifestyle ... With the lid ,, instead of spending various amounts of money on repair products ,, why not just buy another lid ... spend all that repair time ..fishing .. .. Spaghetti looks awesome ,, but needs ground Italian sausage for the win ... my favorite cold weather meal since I was a kid .... ..Wow ,, that coffee shop in RC had an awesome pastry counter ,, I think I gained 5 lbs. with only a fraction second view .... Yumm !!

I have been catching up with your video's this morning and wanted to tell you something I saw the other day on a show. Back awhile when Horseflies were making you miserable? They are terrified of Dragonflies. A couple found little metal clip on Dragonflies that cost next to nothing and put them around on their boat and anywhere they were being pestered and they worked perfectly. Just thought I would pass this on knowing Kelly likes trinket shops. That was the kind of place they found some. What a cool fix!

Just a suggestion if you are traveling through or to the Adirondacks... we camp at fish creek pond campground... and I know y'all prefer diverse camping, but access to Floodwood to kayak is right there. But regardless; I hope yall get to kayak floodwood!!! It's all manual powered boats only: kayak, canoe, etc no gas powered allowed. It is truly a little heaven on earth! Happy and safe travels!!!

What is meant by dispersed camping? Dispersed camping is the term used for camping anywhere in the National Forest OUTSIDE of a designated campground. Dispersed camping means no services; such as trash removal, and little or no facilities; such as tables and fire pits, are provided. Some popular dispersed camping areas may have toilets.

I don't know where dispersed came from but I do know where boondocking came from. Bundok is the Tagalog (Filipino) word for mountain. The soldiers brought the word back here after the Philippine-American War 1899-1902. Then during the Vietnam war the soldiers started calling it boonies.
