Love, love, love your videos! What stands out to me the most, is the organization. A well laid out camp, functional, and comfortable. I'm also super impressed with all of your recipes that you have, the fact you prep, and bring it all to the forest for a gourmet meal is inspiring. Tomahawk steak in the woods with sashimi!?! Camping has come a long way since when I was a kid, this style of camping makes practical sense to me, it's not a hodgepodge of stuff brought from home, it's curated and well thought out. I also love the fact you and your wife work so well together to prep firewood, cook together, and enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for sharing and putting so much effort into production of your videos!

Thanks for the compliments! My wife and I definitely love spending time together at camp. We balance preparing food at home and at camp. The rule is... if you don't want to do it at camp, then do it at home. lol. Thanks for watching!

Definitely a good place... but a bit pricey. You have to drive off road for about a mile up the hill. There is one sharp turn but I think it should be ok for your Bambi! Thanks for watching!

As always great vid. I love the way you and your wife eat your meals together. So disciplined and sharing. Unlike my house, which is more like a pack of wolves over too small a piece of meat. I will be in the Leavenworth/Skykomish area in about a week so you are warned. If I see you I will try to mouch one of those delicious meals. Just kidding! Noticed the dog at the end under the table, just in the right position to get any "Goodies" that fall. Take care.

Thanks Tim! Yes, the dogs are nosy. They definitely look for opportunities. Every time we cook something, they are curious to see if they can eat it with us (of course not). That's why you see their nose in the video frame often time. I'll be camping in the south from now and July. I plan on going up north in August. Have a great time camping with your family! Leavenworth area is beautiful!

Enjoyed the video, always gives me ideas for the next time I go camping. I just can't convince myself to buy into the TTA line of products, no matter how I look at it, functionality to cost ratio is low. Snow Peak's pricing on this line line of products is insulting.

@@aafgahfah I actually got that smoker from Campingworld UK. They ran out of stock shortly after I bought it. It is not sold here in America. It is indeed a simple dish. You don't have to use the ingredients that I use. It'll pretty much taste good with anything.

I used a bungee cord for the towel holder. You can hook it into the holes on the side of the IGT. The only issue with this is you have to apply enough tension otherwise your paper towel roll will roll if there is wind. I plan on getting a towel roll holder when I'm in Korea. Thanks for watching!

안녕하세요? 저희도 베이스캠프 사기 전에 고민이 많았었어요. 막상 몇번 끌고 다니니 그나마 수월해 지더라구요. 그래도 Class B만큼 기동성 좋은건 없죠. 저의 위시리스트에 있답니다. 나중에 혹시 이쪽으로 로드트립이라도 오시면 같이 캠핑하면 좋겠어요. 저희 영상 시청해 주셔서 감사합니다!

Hi there! What you don’t see in the video is I always put away food and food scented items in the car or travel trailer before going to bed. There is a very low chance of a bear counter in western WA. There are bears in national parks at Mt. Rainier or northeastern WA. Thanks for watching!

Curious, any concerns cooking under the tarp?

There are a lot of concerns. I only use my fire pit at the very edge of the tarp where there's a lot of clearance. Sparks from firewood will make a hole in your tarp. Be careful! However, it is less concerning if you use charcoal because the flame won't rise as high. I just got the Takibi Tarp that has the fire resistant fabric underneath. That's better for fire.
