Camping and Glacier Kayaking with Compass Heli

This past June I had the opportunity to join Nick Drader on a camping and glacier kayaking trip. The weather was on the fence all week but it cleared up just in time for our trip. We spent 2 nights sleeping on a beach at paradise lake while exploring the nearby lakes via kayak.
The lakes, kayak's and glacier's are only accessible via helicopter access through Compass Helicopter Tours. You can find out more information here: www.compasshelitours.com/

7:41 there is a giant robot stuck in that mountain. I'm certain the quest to unlock him starts under one of those waterfalls in that lake. Also, kayaking on glacier rivers looks scary as hell! I'd be worried the water would melt through somewhere and suddenly all drain down through one of those fissures, taking me with it! Awesome video!

Got to see this clip via DownieLive's Community Page. Wow! British Columbia never ceases to amaze me. This was a great adventure for you and I can see why Mike is sooo jealous. The only other place in the world that I know has waterfalls, mountains and river/lake scenery like this is just across "the ditch" from me in the South Island of New Zealand. The kayaking scenes up on the glacier are unique to your part of the world as New Zealand's two major glaciers don't have the suspended territory like yours. Thanks for sharing this great experience.

I'm almost apprehensive to share this video. God forbid it snowballs in popularity, some instagram "influencer" airhead gets a hold of it, visits paradise, the zombies follow, and pretty soon there's a parking lot.
