Campinas - (Part 1) Exploring the cathedral and the old train station

It was a joy to be back in the wonderful city of Campinas again! It is such a vibrant and bustling city with beautiful architecture and a lot of history. I discovered the beautiful cathedral of Nossa Senhora de Conceição in the heart of the city. As well as the main retail street in the city, Rua 13 de Maio, which was named after the day that the abolition of slavery took place in Brazil, 13th May, 1888.
I also had a look inside the old train station which is now a cultural centre which houses a reading room and various events for the people of Campinas.
Stay tuned for more interesting content about Brazil as this is the first of my long form videos about my trip there!

Hello. I’m kind of curious about what you do for living, because my dream is to have a job that requires to travel. Do you have some job vacancies? I have a degree in business administration and I speak 3 languages.

Hi Daniel, thanks for your comment. It's actually a bit complicated to explain that succinctly, but if you want to drop me an email on william.g.a.frost@gmail.com I can fill you in a bit more. That's awesome that you speak 3 languages. English, Portuguese and Spanish?

@@dgbastoss1 Languages are always positive things to learn I think as they can open doors to fresh opportunities. Whilst it is a lot of work, it is worth it in my opinion. I will respond to your email as soon as I can Daniel, thanks for getting in touch and for supporting my channel. I am always looking for new contacts in Brazil so that's great.
