Campervan UK. The Peak District, an unexpected adventure!

Well, the weather is terrible in the South so we decide to escape East Anglia and hit the A1 North. Having made no plans, we make it as far as Newark-on Trent, take a left turn and head toward the Peak District.
We have only the weekend and the bad weather is slowly creeping its way North; will we escape it?
