Martin Stapleton is a prominent member of the Irish Farmers Association; this organisation has been a major Irish lobby group the Irish government and the European Union. It is the biggest lobby group for Irish farmers, and it covers all typed of farming practices in Ireland.
Martin has been involved in IFA at a national level for the last few years. He is an outgoing national treasurer and was a returning officer for elections in the association until he declared he was running for election himself.
He is a dairy and beef farmer near Oala, Co. Limerick. He was previously involved in Macra Na Fierme (an organisation for young people from farming and rural backgrounds). He held a number of officer positions in South Tipperary executive of Macra during his younger days.
This Launch took place on Saturday 16th September 2023 at Ballykisteen Golf Hotel, Limerick Junction, Co. Tipperary.
