Thanks for sharing. I taught this to my English classes in South Korea, and they rocked the house.

While this may not be the same version I learned as a camper 23+ years ago, it is a version of it and it’s one I’ve taught to campers over my 10+ years as a counselor. Regardless of what version you teach/learn/know/etc, this is absolutely one of my favorite morning circle songs especially on the first day/night of camp, it loosens everyone up and man there’s something about just going HAM on the ‘GO BANANAS’ part that makes me so happy.

Gretchen Miller, some camp chants are the ways to make you cheer for the crowd that I've cheered for my class at bowling. Way to cool, bro!

I did this at home in Voice Memos on May 8th, 2022.

Camp aggazziz village main massatusettes we did ....swimming pool song... pork and beans song and bubble gum song.. most memorable times had... great tallented counsellors there...
