I definitely need to get here. My grandfather was the "forester" in that area for a while, and my mother was born there. They lived in the town of Studtis, and their neighbor was the policeman... 😬

Top job. Loved the easy vibe of your video... well done. It's an area I have been wanting to take the family to for some time. We are fortunate to have so many beautiful non commercial places to visit in SA. It's on my bucket list of places still to visit...albeit a long list Thanks for sharing

I did a Stay at the opposite sides of Baviaans in December 2021. Driving through it we noticed that there are so many awesome site to go to. and a few 4x4 routes to drive.

Yep, we’ve been there before so I think that’s why Hugh refers to Doringkloof as Doringlaagte 😀 We have a quick visit planned for Montage later this year.

Darn, the music is deafening and mumbling doesn't make for easy listening😢 My maternal g.father had a farm next to Zandvlakte when JG Strydoms father owned it. Would love to go and see it for myself one day...
