CAMOTE UBE HALAYA | Ube Jam Using Sweet Potato
CAMOTE UBE HALAYA is sometimes called "Camote Delight." A Filipino dessert made from boiled and mashed sweet potatoes cooked with condensed milk, butter, and with ube flavoring to make it similarly the same as the real Ube Halaya.

Ingredients:
1 kg Camote
300 ml Jersey Ube Flavored condensed milk
370 ml evaporated milk
2 tsp ube flavoring
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 tsp fine salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter

"Nilupak" means pounded... this recipe is a Filipino delicacy made from cooked cand mashed cassava combined with butter, and sugar or sweetened condensed milk. My version of Nilupak is creamy and cheesy because of all purpose cream and grated cheese added in it.

1kg cassava, unpeeled
1 pack 250ml all purpose cream
1/2 cup condensed milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup cheese, grated

Ang camote delight po ay hindi niluluto just adding the ingredients on the mashed camote ay ok na... Camote Ube Halaya is being cooked just like cooking the real Ube Halaya. Thank you for watching.

Kamote is not an UBE! the do have different leaves, they do have different root crops in terms of structure and taste. So you basically have sweet potato or kamote but not an UBE!
