Love your car. I just bought my dad a 64 chevelle (it’s on my page) as an early bday/Father’s Day gift. He loves the 66 novas too. Couldn’t decide on which body style. We are definitely going to put a LS in it this winter. Enjoy your ride! Take care!

What is the must have mods/parts for it to be a PRO TOURING? Does changing to Euro or Asia platform won't make it a PRO TOURING?

@@princesssolace4337 better suspension which means no more leaf springs, adjustable shocks, lowered ride height, bigger brakes and wheels, and wider tires if possible. Of course, you do all these mods to match the engine power for better handling. The "pro touring" term is more suitable for American cars from the 60s and 70s...big power without the handling of euro and Asian cars.

The best part was the kids smile in the back seat during the cruise. Next generation of gearhead.

A simple but very clean and detailed build. He definitely hit a homerun with the color, stance and wheels.

I agree completely 👍 This is set-up is exactly what I'd desire in classic Pro-Touring ride. There's just a couple of issues that set off my OCD 😳 The first being the hood fitment where the hood meets the fenders; seems to be a bulge in the middle. Second is the passenger side molding where the fender meets the door. (Please forgive my OCD, this car is gorgeous 👍)

Perfect?? Door doesnt line up on passenger side with front fender.Car should be blue..Wavy as the oceon.

The youngster in the back seat 💺 is hooked on horsepower and being pinned in his seat 💺 He loved it! I can tell!

That engine bay is sooo clean!!! Love that color too. He gets even more points for showing up with his kid lol! I roll with my kids everywhere.

I love the Nova, it’s the essence of what a car is, three boxes, four wheels, two headlights and a grill.

Damn those wheels and tires are perfect for this car it is not possible to find better looking wheels for this car

That kid smiling the hole time was great

In particular the suspension/stance & mini tub elevates this platform so well

@@9aqua_man282 Imagine the widest rear tires on a pro street car. A tub is removing the original rear wheel housing and further into the structure, replacing it with a larger housing for wider wheels/tires. A mini tub is a compromise.

You don't need big hp to have fun

Most people nowadays can't drive for shit to begin with, nvm a car with horsepower numbers above 400hp at the wheels. Seen way too many cars destroyed or had to fix because some 20's something kid lost control..

400+ at the wheel in a sub 3000lb car is big power. We are spoiled by all the 800+HP stuff these days. This car would be a blast.

This '66 is outstanding! It has everything you need, yet the car is still lean & mean. The exhaust note is great, too. Feel free to move in next door.

I just bought a 66 nova and im waiting for it to be delivered from out of state. I cant wait to take my son for a ride in it. I bought it for both of us. I love seeing this young man really smile when you open it up. We must do what we can to keep these cars alive for the next generation. Beautiful car and I love the Color.

This has to be one of my favorites so far! Fast enough to enjoy it, but tame enough that it's more drivable.

There’s nothing I don’t like about this car. A PERFECT mix of new school and old school. That’s a fine line to walk and not everybody can pull it off. I’m in love with the color! Right on man!!

I don't say this much on this channel but your car is perfect. Stock interior and exterior with race car parts everywhere else. That's my flavor. I'm also impressed how well those triple 5s are hooking on shock waves. Mad props! Put a six point in it. That's like driving around in a 500 horse tuna can.

Sickest Nova I've ever seen, hands down, and I've seen almost everything. Are there flashier paint jobs, more HP, more customization? Yes, but this right here speaks to me. Jesus man. Front to back perfection.

Back in 1992, I built an AMT 1/25 scale of pro-touring second gen Nova like this before there was even pro-touring. Since there were no 1/25 scale pro-touring wheels back then, I used the wheels and engine from a 1990 Corvette ZR-1. @#$% I was ahead of my time. Sweet car by the way.

Love this build! Just my style - clean, stockish, well balanced.

The Smile of the Son....priceless moment...his loving every moment.

I've owned several Nova's over the years and still do. I love the Willow Green on a 66.

The Torino gave me shivers from its cool factor--such an on point muscle car. And then the Nova...ripples of satisfaction charged through me; it was like the accelerator and that kid in the back's face were connected bringing a huge grin every time he tromped on it. Influencing the younger generation with an appreciation for our bygone era stuff is just ultra cool.

Fantastic Nova ! The father built the car. Shawn built the memory for the boy and viewers. Thanks for letting the boy come along.

Believe it or not i was dreaming about this car since i was in 3rd grade such beautful unique master peace Nova👑 the most beautiful looking & the best name ever in existence to call a huge, shiny Chevvy❤

F*ckers mint👌 Props for keeping it clean and not having NOS bottles in the rear window and twin turbos sticking out of the hood. I really dig it, and that interior...

This car is so perfect in so many ways!!! The green is gorgeous, the stock interior is perfect (how these cars should always be kept), just the optimal unbreakable engine, and as you said sweetspot power, gorgeous stance, the wheels somehow a perfect match (although I always prefer period wheels)... The best part is his kid on-board, you ought to do more of that, I believe it's a first, my kid is 17 soon and I wish we shared this passion more (finds bikes dangerous ever since my accident)... Kid was a riot in the back seat 🤘❤️

I got my classic car. Its a 1996 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 in it with 209,000 and still going strong.

@@CJColvin I would suggest the following - GT40 heads from an explorer - upgrade the valve springs, grab the intake from the explorer as well, a cam swap (B303 or similar) and a free flowing exhaust - you'll be happier - : )

Absolutely beautiful. Not that anyone asked but if he swapped those stock manifolds out for longtube headers he would probably pickup 40 plus rear wheel. Longtubes and tune are good for 30 rear wheel on a stock ls3 let alone what he is losing on that cam. But then again he seems perfectly happy with how the car is now
