Mark, I won't rag on you for having it on gas. If it's a daily driver, it's a good way to save some cash on your fuel bill. You just need a gas system that has the ability to support the power your making, get it tuned right, and then cruise a lot cheaper than on petrol. Trouble with gas is that few people install a system good enough, so you end up with it lacking power and get upset with it. I've got gas on a few of my vehicles, the best systems are the injected gas, have it on my eb2 ghia, wifes ba xr8 (liquid injection - bloody awesome), and gas injection on my daily driver bmw e39 v8, a AC Stag Qmax Plus system. Injected gas is awesome. Cheap running on gas, and no restrictions for when your running on petrol. I've got an Impco 425 on my EB S XR8, it's pretty good for the mild v8 around town, made a custom adapter so it actually fit, as usually the ford v8s ended up with an impco 225 on them, which is really undersized. What gas system is on it?

Impco 425 s are great hey. 460cfm from memory. Many moons ago I had 1 setup on a 465holley 4 barrel baseplate & an Aussiespeed 4barrel manifold to suit 250xflow with an E Convertor plumbed closely. A 425 would work great with a 5l Windsor if someone wanted straight gas. Could get away with more compression too. Cheers

​@@zacsborntorunrunningadvent3441with a custom fabricated adapter and a custom top had to hook the impco 425 to your air flow meter, I fabricated my own bits, to clear the strut tower, you can run an impco 425 on a efi Windsor v8, I did that on my eb s xr8 for year's.

Love the Wheels dude I love all FORD Land yachts. Beautiful. I have a BF G8 Fairlane 5.4 230 kw stock but absolutely pristine 100.000kms 2006 model only 153 were manufactured. She is beautiful on the road. The last of the fairlanes.!,!😔😔👍. Also I have a P5 LTD AND P6 LTD MONARCH. JUST BEAUTIFUL.

I have an beautiful au 2 v8 has a control that adjust clutch in auto to make it quick to shift . Also I run water menthol as I run nitros with heater blanket and 10 pound bottle with jets at 125 hp at the wheels , also have stall converter at 2000 . Have new headers and straight thru 2 half inch exhaust with on muffler . I love my old girl and she is immaculate inside and out . Well done on your job so far . 😊

Very well done bloke. The tune seems to have made a noticeable difference and that hood lining job looked like a headache. But the cars come up mint.

It’s a shame about the clear on this era of car. Seen plenty of Fords and Holdens going downhill before they end up at the wreckers. We owned a 2000 WH Statesman which started life as an Avis rental. Owned from 03 to 2018. The paint is still good. It now lives in northern NSW and is on the road nearly everyday and parked in a garage and it still looks sharp. I guess the paint robot liked this unit.

Michael and Luke from Dents Away will look after you, I’ve used them a few times on my cars and can’t recommend them highly enough. They come to you, go around your car and highlight every dent (even some you don’t know about) then price how far you want to go, reasonably priced and get your car dead straight, great guys also.

There is a plenum gasket that works much better than goop, and they compensate for slight warps in the surface, no mess at all and about the same price as the tube of ultra grey

The clear coat on my blue au2 xr6 is what drove me to sell it. Miss it a lot

You can get a 175kw to do this by just blueprinting. No tune or camshaft required. I would do standstill LSD burnouts on 235/45/17's with the old BTR!! 😆

Nice Induction Roar. Being heavy the AU Fairlane 5.0l Id highly recommend a 2500rpm stall. 2000rpm stall is basically standard yeah (1800-2000rpm). Cam sounds great & is the J3 chip customised by you or pre loaded edit? Cheers

Gaday what injectors have you got in the AU. I've gone up to 24 lb in my 5 lt AU and a nice 544 lift cam. Ported and polished heads match ported manifold 1.6" exhaust valves. High volume fuel pump billet fuel rails and adjustable fuel reg. Do you have aftermarket heads ? Beacause you have gone for stage 3, but only revving t0 5500, that's stock revs. I thought I'd only needstage 2 chip but now I'm thinking 3 . Thanks for your video, cheers I'm in Adelaide too.

There is a proper gasket there, it went on new when I put the engine in. But as I mentioned I didn’t wanna put much pressure on these bolt as the last manifold cracked easily
