I am going to cycle from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela in April/May 2024. Can you please let me know how the wind conditions (speed and direction) along Portugal coast were? Did you get lots of wind from North to South? I was wondering if I should cycle the other way around, from North to South.

Hi, we cycled during the summer (end of July), and we had a little bit of wind from West. That's was good thing, because it was cooler (sometimes foggy). Only last day we had little bit of wind from East, and that wind brings hot air from mainland. You should keep directions from South to North.... and pray for a little bit of luck 😁
