Camille great job! I couldn’t believe how the faithfuls kept falling for the same plot twist when Sam was on the line. He would accuse the person who targeted him and they would turn against the faithful. They never questioned the fact that he got rid of anyone who questioned him. I was so glad that he was left with egg on his face at the hand. I couldn’t stand seeing him.

My husband and I just finished this season of traitors last night and I’m SO glad to have found your channel! THANK YOU for taking Sam down! We were freaking out when we saw how it ended. Hated it for Blake, but that was the most poetic reality tv justice I’ve ever seen. What a villain Sam was on the game and in real life apparently. We couldn’t believe how he attacked you even after the game was over. Much love from TN, USA! ❤️

We highfived so hard when you hellblazingly peered into Sam's soul with a true detective mind and heart. Blake knew the entire time, but Sam apparently had zero social psychological studies covered and no self-awareness of how much of an obvious, disingenuous, one trick pony he was. As a Swedish social democrat, in ideological views it's at its purest about community and trust, it makes me proud to see a "genuine" person standing up for justice. You have my support as a subscriber. Good luck!

Great chant, yeah they should have included it (rich person lol, that was such a crappy thing for Sam to say - he still doubles down on that in interviews I have read with him post season)! My wife and I are addicted to Traitors and loved that season 2 AUS finally got released here in the US! We usually end up rooting for the Traitors and we did so initially for this season too, but as it progressed we ended up flipping because of the "sherrif" (eye roll). Most of the season we were just dumbfounded. Giving the cast some credit I am sure things aren't as obvious when you are there in the middle of it vs watching it on TV, but it was so frustrating watching the group gather before each round table "ok, this is what we are going to do" then get in there and be like "nah, let's vote for the person that thinks Sam is the traitor" - every...freaking...time. I would pause after a vote and we would just look at each other....how!? How can they NOT vote for Sam again! lol. I hated that you didn't get a share of the pot and I felt a bad for Blake, he seems like a good guy, there were many times where I thought he could/should have stood up a bit more to Sam, but that just didn't seem like his personality type, more of a follower. BUT...we were VERY happy to see Sam not get squat and that look on his face at the end was just priceless. I would love to know what the rest of cast thought about how things played out! You played it very well, I thought for sure you were going to share then BOOM, nope! The best Traitor seasons, I think, have come from Australia, the ending of Season 1 was amazing/brutal but Season 2 topped it. I read that they weren't going to do a season 3, which I hate - I also think Roger is the best host of the bunch, followed by the woman that does the UK one as a close second. Great video, I dropped a sub and I'll check out the channel. Thank you for the details, looking forward to seeing more and congratulations on a job well done!

@@10TargetsDetecting I 100% get you guys who were traitors having to walk the line because if he doesn’t get out then he could out you and I get the faithful being afraid of being murdered if they are too loud I think what was frustrating and I get why it became an issue was you’d get to the table and the idiots would flip week after week if anyone had faith in the other players to actually stand their ground he wouldve been gone it annoying they were so weak and would flip and you guys would see it was obvious what they were gonna do so week after week you’d end up stuck with him if they’d just stood 10 toes down and said no Sam you’re wrong you’re the traitor stop trying to pin it on someone else every single person you blame is faithful I feel the game would’ve gone different

Hi Camille! Thank you for some great - and classy - game play! You revolutionized the game. Your phenomenal feat compelled me to take a stab (pun intended) at understanding what went down. Camille made the right call for two reasons. One, Blake’s interview here shows that, at least as of the date of his interview, he never had a fully accurate read on Sam’s true intentions. Throughout the season Blake was frustrated at being constantly hamstrung by Sam’s aggressive style. He did an admirable job of staving off threats from within and without Traitors’ Tower. However, he didn’t utilize his self-proclaimed gamer skill set to full potential. The right call would have been to eliminate Sam. Why did Blake, who knew Sam’s true nature more than anyone else in the game, risk going to the end with Sam? While fear of Sam’s record of axing his challengers might have played a role, I think hubris and sexism are equally important factors. I say this as a big fan of Blake, who became the underdog Traitor I was rooting for the whole game. How awesome would it have been for him to take out Sam and win at least a shared portion of the silver with Camille after all the hurdles he faced, many of which were due to Sam’s missteps? He and Camille gave conflicting accounts of their final conversations regarding whether or not to collaborate to oust Sam once and for all. Why did Blake never muster enough [insert skill or quality] to create an adequate counterforce to Sam’s aggressive tactics? Blake allowed Sam to call a lot of the key shots, including recruiting Camille, despite his protests. A question Camille presented in her interview here reveals the important role sexism likely played in this. She posed the question specifically about the impetus behind Sam berating her after the Traitors’ Dilemma, asking if he would have done the same thing to a man, especially a much-admired man like Luke. But I think what she sensed applies to Blake as well. In his interview I sensed an underlying, and likely subconscious, dynamic in Blake’s game. I think he was not only frustrated, but also envious of Sam being able to plow through the game - and the Faithfuls - mercilessly on his way to the pile of silver. While Blake seems to be a genuinely super nice person in real life, he’s also a gamer at heart, and he would have absolutely loved to obliterate all his opponents and take all the silver for himself. He and Sam referred to themselves with pride as the “OG Traitors” that “worked hard the entire game” and “deserved the silver” for themselves. This is very revealing: To the bitter end, and to his detriment, Blake clung to the idea, almost reverentially, of being a winner with the exclusive OG Traitor status. In a weird way, despite repeatedly stating he didn’t trust Sam at all, he put all his last faith in that relationship. He hedged his bets on the OG Traitor relationship carrying them both to the silver, regardless of their previous disagreements and the mistrust he had of Sam. Camille correctly intuited this as a huge weakness in Blake’s game play. If he did in fact suggest to her that they take out Sam together, she likely didn’t accept his offer overtly because he hadn’t done enough for her to feel like she could trust him to not stab her in the back in the end. She could sense his desire to come out on top, even if that meant putting his trust in his love-hate relationship with his OG Traitor Bro instead of her. Bro Power all the way. What’s sad is that, despite being a board game connoisseur, Blake can’t get past his sour grapes enough to acknowledge Camille’s superb game play. Contrast his statements here about Sam with those he made about Camille. He pretty much defended Sam’s tactics, saying, “He was playing the game.” He too is irked at Camille for doing what she did. But in reality, the blame for his loss lies more heavily on Sam and himself (for failing to take Sam out). Like Sam, Blake’s hubris was his undoing. Camille knew that if she broke her facade of the sharing, loyal lamb being unwittingly led to slaughter, and overly pushed to vote Sam out, Blake and/or Sam might have used that as an opportunity to actually have Camille voted out. Which brings me to the second reason why Camille made the right call. Sarah was the lynchpin of Sam’s game. He could count on being able to sway her at every banishment, regardless of conversations prior to. Both Camille and Blake knew that Sarah was the wild card during votes that could ruin their individual games since others, but especially Sam, held so much power over her. So Camille measured the layered threats she faced on the last day: Sarah’s dangerous fickleness, Blake’s desire to prove himself a gamer of the same or higher level as Sam (and likely ultimate fear of Sam), and Sam’s cold blooded treacherous nature. Camille outlasted 17 other OG faithfuls, dodging both murder and banishment, making it to the very end. She essentially became an undercover Faithful. Certainly, she wanted the silver too, and if she had sensed she had a good shot at getting it she would have taken it: After being recruited she could have tried harder at some machinations in order win a slice of the silver herself (most likely aim to split the pot with Blake after voting out Sam). But at that point she read the room of the game accurately. She knew the behavior of the Faithfuls. She knew why the Traitors recruited her, and she saw how they operated. Finally, she knew Blake and Sam cared about the silver more than anything else. She had a choice: Risk going out big, swinging for the silver (i.e. follow in the footsteps of many other people in the franchise’s international history), or beat the Traitors at their own game, and in a gloriously devious fashion. By capitalizing on the OG Traitor Bros’ weaknesses, and buoyed by the groundwork she meticulously laid in how she presented herself throughout the game, she chose the latter. The Bros never saw it coming: The possibility that someone would actively choose to sacrifice her own chances of winning any silver in order to be able to sabotage the other Traitors’ games and deny them their silver never EVER entered their minds. Camille is a woman, an older woman, and a mother. They underestimated her intellect and abilities, and over estimated her willingness to simply be grateful to have made it this far (i.e. thanks to them) and just “play nice” with them. She refused to play nice. She chose a different type of winning that they didn’t understand. Girl Power all the way. I hope someday Blake and Sam give credit where credit is due. This won’t detract from, but would only add to, their own legacies as really entertaining, lovable (perhaps one of them more love-to-hateable) players. This finale, mostly thanks to Camille’s consummate game play, was EPIC. After a season of frustration- and adrenaline-inducing stupidity by so many inept players, of countless dumb moves (including those of the OG Traitors), of some fairly cheesy low-budget challenges (which I personally found fun and funny in their simple novelty, although they could have edited some for brevity’s sake), it was the cathartic, history-making ending the season needed. I think I might have broken my T.V. if Sam got a single ounce of silver (sorry, Sam, you were just too good at playing the Villain). The sweet, sweet justice of the final steal reveal was simply divine. I almost felt like I just won something, bouncing up and down and air pumping my fists (which I don’t think I’ve ever done in my life) while barely being able to stifle bursting out with shouts and cheers (watching the finale on my phone while in bed with my husband asleep beside me wasn’t the best decision. In my defense I was anticipating a very different, disappointing, and predictable ending). Like I said, Epic. (Cross-posted on Camille’s interview on The Traidar KZread channel)
