When two green flag break up, its mostly because love fades and they become friends not partners. Some people keep on pretending everything is good when its not. They both had busy schedules and less time. Ofcourse they would start loosing interest. Thank god they didn't cheat.

It should be the one thing that’s easy and that you can rely on feels like the safe space from everything in else! In fact I heard someone say your husband should be someone you can literally walk blindly with and know that where ever he takes you; you will be happy.

I'm happy she said this. I got a lot of flack from my friends after getting back with my ex after he made me so miserable. But I feel that we as women, sometimes it's truly truly hard to forget someone, we suffer emotionally twice as much as men and we tend to make more mistakes because we act on our feelings, rather than our thoughts. Anyway, long story short, it was easier for me to get over my ex after getting back with him. lol I could see him better, clearer, and it made MY decision that much more meaningful to leave him BECAUSE of how and who he is as a person. It's ok to get back to your old lover once, but no more than that. We all have room to grow as humans, and it's ok to just end things for your well being....

Totally nothing wrong with what you did, you needed closure. I always support my friends when they contact their exes, because I know that if they're still thinking about him all the time, it's not over in her mind and she needs more time to be with him so that she can have a proper chance to fall out of love with him. Sometimes that's just necessary, otherwise I think you can run the risk of turning your ex into a fantasy in your mind, someone that was never real but who you've romanticized because of the heartbreak. But once you get to be with them again you can see them for who they are.

Sometimes it’s not who they are (for example in this case she said he was a good guy and she was lucky to have such a nice ex) but it’s just to know that it really isn’t going to work, get rid of the doubts. When you haven’t met anyone who makes you feel like you did with them, you need to know if you’ve done the right thing. Getting closure so you both can move on. And she said she didn’t believe in “right person wrong time” but that can be a thing. Especially if you were very young when you were together and broke up. Time can show you that you were right, or even that you were wrong. I don’t think there’s a rule about it, every relationship is different.

I see nothing wrong with this. However I wonder how often couples do this not realizing that any relationship requires rough patches and the commitment to do the work. My parents have been married for 40 years. They almost called it quits but they put in the work to move past their issues. I have friends who are in marriages where they’ve had a rough year with their spouse and they thought it was over but once they came out of it they were stronger for it. I’m not saying every couple should move forward together, as some couples become toxic, but if people wish to find a life partner, they need be with that partner, you know, for life.

You make very good points, but it could also be their age, neither of them have really dated many people and maybe just don’t know what they need from a relationship. I say that as someone in a ten year relationship who has worked through the tougher times, it needs to be with someone you want to work through the tough times with and it sounds like they weren’t a fit for doing that long term.

I’m calling it. By time they are at the age of 40, they will get married. They are too infatuated with each other, both met young and in the same industry. Regardless of her answer, right person wrong time. She’s not old enough to realize this and it’s not right currently because their career takes priority and they just can’t have the time available for each other. Once they realize they are getting older and notice they won’t find anyone who comes close to matching as they do, they will know without a doubt.

Its mainly because she didnt lighten her eyebrows. When you lighten your hair that much you need to lighten your eyebrows if they are much darker naturally. It clashes too much and looks off if you dont. Which is why it looks bad.
