    Learn other languages are gift. All the globalization today is a gift, teach your kids when they are young. Camila is right the more you learn is better to their future.

    Well, she started living in the USA when she was 15. Gisele didn't move until she was about 20... Plus she used to speak german, maybe that was too much information at once haha

    ELFELICIANO That's because Gisele always exercised the two languages, while when Camila moved she basically only speaks English. It is extremely hypocrite, in one interview has said that she does not teach Portuguese for their children like Gisele does, but talk "about the importance of teaching a second language to kids", pufff.

    I have that language barrier problem with my extended family overseas... It sucks because you can't really get to know them

    Corn is Best Really? I mean, now that I have a second listen she does have a very slight accent but it's hardly noticeable and it's nowhere NEAR as thick as you put it. I've heard FAR worse English accents from Brazilian people.

    jsphat81 I guess. I like her tone and accent though. It doesn't butcher English as much as other thick Brazilian accents.

    When you teach them a second language, tell them how to say it and what it means. The important thing is to not associate them with english words. Just let them know how to say it and what it means and then continue to build from there. Once they get the hang of it, the. They will start asking what specific words mean.

    Laerice McCoy fairy tales, cartoons, immersion also works quite well for kids :)
