I've been in the club scene since the early 90s. I've been djing for about 20 years and yes this is definitely paying homage to the old trance sound. No, its not poppy or edm...its timeless. Like all great tracks, for sure a gem imo

Yes, if you had to put it into one genre, it would be melodic techno. It's so hard to put tracks under one specific genre for the last few years. I hear the best elements from all the primary genres from years ago. It is by no means the trance that we love from the 90s and 2000s. But they have captured that same emotional content that trance blessed us with. CLEAR ENOUGH?

Wholly molly, you guys have blended that old school euphoria trance with some of those driven sound design techno elements. What an uplifting track, well done, absolutely love it, definitely for the more matured listener that's for sure! Only been getting into Afterlife's approach to music and it feels like I'm going through an existential crisis over what music I listen to now xD Younger panty-dropper type basslines vs track like these that are incredibly enjoyable too listen to, especially when you can hear every produced element through your Sennheisers
