Dang, this was actually hard for me to watch having followed the real news story. I was even there just a month before the riots broke out.

I'd like to play this, but on the side of the police. Modern crown control tactics are very similar to old style ancient and medieval warfare.

A hostel friend told me about seeing this live tv in Egypt. It was crazy

Meh, I wouldn’t trust buying this game in Early Access. If you’ve been following this game since 2013 you’d know what I mean, just too many missed release dates and poor communication from the devs. I’ll wait until full release and see how the reviews are.

Great game though!, the developer put realistic emphasis, even the sound recorded taken from real live event of peaceful intended demonstration turn into broad daylight bloody shooting spree

Yup, it was the arab spring, that day is called the angry friday "جمعة الغضب" where thousands of protestors made it to the streets of cairo to demand their rights to have a better government and to replace their corrupt president "hussny mubarak" for his actions and refusal to help the egyptian economy also stealing the people's money for over 10 years, the protest had violent events like shown in the game (yes a diplomatic car really did run over 20 protestors) multiple shots fired at the civilians, riot vehicles running over them on purpose, and even the military has interfered in the protest, bringing their helicopters and armoured tanks, the riot ended in 2013 when the president mubarak made his final message on telivision before resigining from his position.
