Cambridge University Real Tennis Club | Real Tennis Club Profiles
An introduction to Cambridge University Real Tennis Club (CURTC) at the heart of the social life between students and town in Cambridge.
Cambridge is one of very few venues in the world with two real tennis courts, and they are perhaps the most different of any two-court venue. The older Cambridge Green court was built in 1869 by Joseph Bickley, while the newer Cambridge Blue court was built in 1890 but spent many decades as squash courts, being reconverted back in the 1990s
Today, Cambridge University Real Tennis Club hosts thriving student and junior sections, with the highlight of the year being the annual Varsity match at Lord's Cricket Ground. The club is a real intersection of various parts of the community and is welcoming to all wishing to try the game

Thank T&RA you for the chance to learn about Cambridge TC. In my opinion, the real appeal of Tennis is that we don't care how good you are. Not to say we don't enjoy basking in the presence of Bag, Cam and other gods. Universally the players of this game only cherish one thing... How much do you love the game? How lucky are we?
