These are the heaviest ring of six bells in the Alton & Petersfield District, and 3rd heaviest in the W&P Guild, the Tenor weighing 12cwt 3qtrs 18lbs in E. Bells 1, 2, 3 and 4 were cast in 1912 by Gillett & Johnston of Croydon, and bells 5 and 6 in 1703 by Samuel Knight of Reading. They hang on old style plain bearings, in a Cast Iron 8-bell frame.

No, the front four are Gillett & Johnston of 1912 and the back two are Samuel Knight of 1703. They are all bronze bells - some of the bells, especially treble and 3rd sound a bit shrill because they are close to the louvres on the side I recorded this from.
