Im from Chiangrai north of Thailand , 6 years ago I went to travel Siem reap Angkor wat Cambodia one of my favorite trip in my life , If you want to see unseen Thailand I recommend come to Chiangmai and Chiangrai north of Thailand different culture from the center of Thailand , I like Khmer people ^^

@@Xuhai-dj1qc Why they can not understand Khmer language and can't speak khmer but Thai people can listen to Laos , Im from Chiangrai north of Thailand I speak Thai I never learn Laos language but I can speak and listen Laos 70 - 80 % but can not understand khmer language

@@Honestandtruth Thai people can not speak khmer but can listen to Laos / because they have the same ancestor Lanna empire and Lanchang empire // and Siam empire and Khmer empire may be have the same​ ancestor to but the beginning in Lawo or Lopburi in Thailand the name of ancestor​ is grom in Thai they call Kom Kom begin in the south of Thailand 1,500 years ago and 1,200 years in the center of Thailand Lopburi and Kom travel to the north and east ( Ankor wat)​ they built later ( 800 years ago)​ I think they have cousin to rule the city Lopburi​ city and Ankor wat city they are cousin but Lopburi​ may be parents // same with Lanna empire ( north of Thailand)​ and Lanchang​ empire​ ( Laos )​ they have the same ancestor // When Ankor wat collape in 700 years ago 5 years later they built new kingdom​ that is Ayutthaya kingdom by one of general of kom ankor and that is the begin of Siam and may be Siam kingdom have the same ancestor with Khmer kingdom​ like Lanna and Lanchang kingdom 👍

Back then there were not that many street lights in the countryside in siem reap. Also back then most people use car battery to power their lights at night or they used power gen.
