These vehicles are quite common in Cambodia so don't be alarmed by them.

What a funny guy in front of you! The crew seemed to be doing their job well by insisting on their rule about headphones and takeoff. Good on them. So that was you inflight entertainment then? 😂 I remember our return flight from Siem Reap back to HKG was also delayed by an hour because of the rain. It looks like when it rains in Cambodia, it literally pours!! I will let you off with your Birkenstock’s and bumbag..... at least you were not wearing socks!! 🤣🤣

That was definitely my inflight entertainment! It was just so so funny, like something out of a sketch. Hats off though to the flight attendant. He was so calm and polite throughout...explaining the regulation to him. But he just thought that because he was this Western white man, he knew better. I guess, it was our own fault for going during monsoon season but at least it wasn't hot! Haha. The Birkies are just so comfortable! And the bumbag...really handy for passports and wallet when you travel hahaha...I just like to be practical and comfortable!

Great report as always. Do you understand the Cambodian language ?

Cheers, buddy! I don't actually. It is so, so different from Thai which was interesting. The alphabet looks similar but the spoken language is totally different.

I'm planning on going to siem raep via Shanghai. Is it true they charge you for carry on luggage?

A super nice report Nik ... such a short flight ... I'd have forgiven the "entitled hottie" once ... second time I'd have turfed him into the engines ... 🔥😈😘😷

He was NOT a hottie..haha....but entitled, yes! Thought that because he was a Western white boy that he knew better. The flight attendant was fantastic...so calm and professional. Great entertainment for me! It was like something out of a sketch. Hahaha

No, it was a very short flight!

Example: The price of the car is 100000 but taxes is 120% of the car😹 in Cambodia, which add up to 200000+. But still Cambodia got a lot of super car and luxury car which need to pay expensive taxes to the government!
