Between these two I'd have to take the ZL1 just for the extra power and excitement. The GT500 vs the ZL1 would be really interesting, except the GT500 doesn't come in a stick, and for me, I care more about excitement and fun than I do track times. I do like the GT350 a lot though.

As a camaro owner, I LOVE the sound of the mustangs, but that flat plane crank voodoo is the best sounding machine out there period. Other than that. Camaro is the more fun and well round car. It's all about what you look for.

Owned then both. The Shelby is so much more fun to drive. The zl1 will walk it all day long. That being said you can’t get a gt350 anymore and my manual zl1 gets delivered tomorrow. 🎉

Coming from a C7 Z06 owner. Get the ZL1. The power is intoxicating. GT350 is nice, but those flat plane and cranks don't produce much torque.

Good question. Hey I was born into a Ford family...not my fault. My first car was a white 63 three on the tree 4 door Falcon. $400.00 bucks. I'd take the black 67 Camaro in Better Off Dead than a GT500 Mustang.

Never would i have heard someone say they didn’t like the ZL1 because it was “too much in your face” 😂 that’s why it looks that way. Imo the camaro is sleeker, has better curves, better sounding, way better performance.. (edit) however going back to the lack of interior quality in the Z, for the price I would agree could be better but realistically if you’re buying a ZL1 that’s not why you’re buying it for. And oh isn’t a crowd killer 🤣

Ive been shopping these two and hellcat's to decide which one.. I have owned 3 mustangs but I have to say, Im on the Camaro Zl1 wagon.. and feel like Chevy is gonna get my money for the first time ever.. The ZL1 and the Hellcat both actually feel like muscle cars, but the Camaro can handle much better the the Cat.. I like the Cat for its highway ride and interior but the ZL1 just Looks the Deal and is super fast, and handles.. it does it all for $65k..

I agree 100 per cent .I m on my second Zl1 had a 2020 and now a 2022. Many vettes before that including 2011 Zr1 and i d still take the Zl1.

They're both very amazing very well performing vehicles how could you choose

The reality of the 350 is reliability. Oil consumption issues like crazy. Track it and it will break. I race in a couple different series and wanted one of these but luckily friends went before me and all had issues. Two had buy backs, the other two had motors replaced and then had the same issue. Daily it maybe fine

I've owned both and the Camaro platform and low end torque just feels way more exciting. And the interior feels less busy in the Camaro

Honestly the engine in the GT 350 is amazing they sound Insane. I'm still salty that they didn't use a supercharged version of that engine in the Ford GT.....but when its not on its hard to see where the money is at in the GT350. The ZL1 just looks amazing and in 1LE form its insane and they also sound amazing.....with an exhaust. PLUS...a simple cam/pully can make them into monsters.

Not sure if I like the sound of the turbo charger. It reminds me of my dads 98' Honda civic. Still nice car though, I'd probably still pick that stang any day

Me I would go with the zl1 because it looks so good and aggressive and it makes 600+hp and handles good in corners. I also like the gt350 too and it sounds nice but I prefer the zl1 more
