I haven't finished the first episode yet, but I think this 'new age Turkish' drama really touches on the issue of 'glass ceiling' that prevents career focused women from leadership positions. Great for a change.

ishqemamnu is the first Turkish tv series I've ever watched. I've watched a few of them myself, but always dubbed in Syrian Arabic or sometimes subtitled in Arabic. I don't like long TV series with seasons; I like the one-seasoned ones. I prefer they're shorter less than 100s/ I really don't like the topics discussed in the most of the Turkish TV series and I don't like the way the voice of those in margins are suppressed. It's always about the glory and glamour of the capitalist class and the misery of the rest of the society -- as if societal life is meaningless unless you have loads of money. That's not realistic at all.

Told myself I'm not starting another Turkish drama cuz theyre so long but here I am 😂

Everything just reminds me of the beautiful time I spent with my soulmate. Sometimes destinies are so intertwined, and I love the way Cem looks at Leyla, hats off to the actors and directors of this drama. Seems Turkish romances are the best in this world. So happy, I came across this one.

This drama series is intensely superb.What I donot like are the wasted moments of slow motions... staring...waste of time !!! The actor and actress are acting naturally...I can feel the hatred in Leya's voice ... and the gentleman attitude of Cem. More power to this drama series!

Even though i have metered mobile internet connection, I watched the whole episode at 720p(comparatively high to my standards) because, the visual of the leads is just out of this world😍😍.

I feel the majority of Turkish actors have eye acting skills and they can demonstrate every emotion so well just by their eyes...

Yes at lease I can watch something else than watching poor girl rich guy dramas all the time... As if dramas can never be potrayed equally 💯✅👍.. it's nice coming up with this series ... @@tulsikeshwala7813... Hi there. I have watched Kalp Atisi also. It is one of the best dramas. A remake of Korean Drama. It was aired on 2017. Now Gokhan Alkan plays as a main role in Kalp Yarisi that is still airing in Turkiye every week. I think it is a good one too. Happy watching.

Just love the mixture of ‘realness’ presentation like western/American series along with a hint of ‘liveliness and cheerful’ Asian series like. Still inspiring yet too much after long day of work/school where you just want to get you head of things a bit.

Such full of energy young girl. I like the beginning storyline.

The huge words from the amazing teacher who brought Layla up There are two kinds of people in this world : 1) Those who blame the world and accept defeat 2) Those who resist and win. 👏👏👏 I love this woman. 👏👏👏

Despite the usual cliches I like how this one touches on inequality. The literal glass ceiling is a bit too on the nose in my opinion but maybe necessary so there is no confusion about the direction of the show and the message it's trying to send. Big pp for whoever decided to add eng subtitles!
