THATS WHAT IM SAYING. I didn’t know if I just remembered history wrong but those 2 were the most electric players I’ve ever seen on the field during my lifetime. Michael Vick and Adrian Peterson the only other guys that had lightning in a bottle like those 2 did. Idc if their dominance was short lived most athletes in the comments were taken out by an injury in HIGHSCHOOL. It’s a miracle in the first place the athletes that last long enough to even get to the pros. So I don’t understand the average fan’s disrespect towards players out of their prime or haven’t been the same since an injury. Get a grip on reality and how special of players they were.

I don't know whether he doesn't want to run the ball as much as he used to, or if the coaching staff is holding him back to preserve him from further injury but he is a total different player without his legs. Just look at these highlights.... a lot of them are clips of him rolling out and running for a first down, or bullying his way into the endzone. They haven't let him do that this year. They got way to cute on the goal line with Tampa Bay the other trying to run some kind of sweep to McCaffrey instead of running it up the gut with their 6'5, 245 pound QB like they used to. It's sad but he's just not the same dude without his legs

You can easily see the toll the injuries are taking on him both physically and mentally. He'll just continue to accumulate injuries until he retires. I respect him as an athlete and QB, but Cam's time has come and gone.

@@postalb33f You just summed up the career of most nfl RBs... too many injuries. You notice how many of the throws are verticals or near verticals? He throws the ball too flat. Can’t complete crossing routes or hit small windows. Take away the running, and his mediocre passing stats become journeyman numbers

Seahawks fan, but I have the utmost respect for Cam. Sad how everyone was praising him and riding his coattails when he was winning, but as soon as he loses the Super Bowl people wanna switch up. Not taking anything away from that Broncos D, but his O-Line and receivers played like trash, plus the number of turnovers. He had no help whatsoever on offense.

The 2016-17 pro season is rigged for the Panthers to lose in order to stop the QB dominance and trailblazing of Cam Newton simply because Cam is a Black QB. The QB spot is traditionally reserved for White players. Why do you think the coaches, owner/ league made all those preseason player changes--starting with getting rid of Norman and top players for rookies. The rigging began on February 7, 2016, and escalated to the entire season. No wonder TV ratings for the pro game are down. Pathetic! Cowardly!

Remember when Cam Newton was the face of the NFL in 2015? Time flies...............

The panthers would still have this kind of qb if the refs had actually called all those late hits early in his career. I saw a miced up clip where he asked the ref wheres the flag and the ref told him "you're not old enough for those calls." He got physically destroyed by the defenses and the refs just stood there and watched. I feel sorry for the guy. He had his career and his lively hood slowly taken from him by pissy refs.

If you're gonna blame that, blame the lack of money spent on O-Line (apart from Matt Kalil which, tbh, most of us saw coming). I'd rather blame his inability to make reads, his overthrows and his career near 3 second time to release

@@botchadchad3396 I agree on all of that. He isn't a perfect qb and the panthers offensive line was terrible. However, the damage that he has taken over the years has taken its toll. He might not be the best qb in existence but the refs shouldn't just allow defenders to lead with their helmets and throw blatant helmet to helmet tackles with no flag or punishments or time after time after time land on him long after the play has been called dead. When the defenders think their won't be any flags thrown for those kinds of hits they will go for more. They will keep testing the limits of what they can get away with. As a result of those late hits and helmet to helmet tackles he has had multiple concussions and tons of surgeries. Now he doesn't have the abilities that you see in this video anymore. Those hits have taken their toll.
