This stuff just won’t stop projecting. It just keeps on going strong. The bottle looked so cheap for CK that I avoided buying it but got it today and the opening was amazing.

I just walked into TJ Maxx and saw this in a 6.7 oz with a $39.99 price tag that was torn in half. I walked up to the cashier and asked her if she could check the price and after some computer typing and printing of a new label, it came up as $10 on clearance! Definitely worth $10.

I picked up this fragrance for the first time today and I was actually SHOCKED! It's hot out right now but I don't care, the dry down smell is Purely amazing and pretty intoxicating tbh with you. Anyways I Just subscribed to the channel. I love your funny analogies and descriptions of these fragrances and you differentiate yourself from other frag channels in a unique way and soothing way. I bought the 100 ml for $20 at TJ Maxx. I was afraid to buy it at first but I kept seeing it in peoples reviews and honorable mentions so I said for $20 what am I loosing and to my surprise I love it. Just waiting for winter to truly enjoy. I have worn it to work at the hospital because it's cold in there constantly and it did well for me.

Good honest review! For deep down low notes musky, peppery types of frags with subtle hints of high notes (to relieve boredom and add adventure) like lavender and clementine, _CK 0ne Sh0ck_ is definitely 0ne to add to your collection. It really doesn't disappoint! Good sillage, good projection, good performance, not super-brilliant on any level but more than decent for all occasions....especially night time! 💨✨🤔 😄 I'm a fraghead and _CK 0ne Sh0ck_ is on my t0p shelf! 😎💯

The spray-painted shock screams youth. I love how youthful this fragrance is and fell in love with the smell when I first purchased it. So sexy. I’m 20 and rock it now and then, good for 15+ I’d say.

Good take on this one Joy. Check out Azzaro pour homme l'eau, you might like it as I see you as that Azzaro pour homme, Van cleef & arpels pour homme kind of guy lol.

It's solid for the price, but it kinda reminds me of walking into a Michael's crafts store. It smells like a spicy candle. I just bought a 100ml at TJ MAXX for $7.50 though, so for the price I'll try it and it's definitely pleasant from the initial smell I had. Will wear it soon, maybe tomorrow!

When you say it lasts 3.5 hours, you're not kidding! For the last few hours you've got to keep bringing your hand to your nose to smell it the way you keep doing in the video.

I have a 50ml of this stuff. I'm not sure why everyone bitches about the "shock" emblem, I think it's kind of cool. Overall, an ok scent though. Btw, Joy, have you tried CK Reveal. I love that juice. Some may say it's feminine.

Just bought it for 20 dollar from tj max 100ml, heard good things about this one, i loved the original.

The reviews on fragrantica keep me away. Whilst many of them are positive the negative ones are Really negative. I wrote this out before watching your video. Will re assess the frag then.

Many say this is a youthful scent. I disagree. To me, this is a confident dude in very nice clothes, driving a vintage Benz or porsche.

Where do you get tobacco from. As much as I smell it I never even get a hint of tobacco.

At the start it can be a bit too much but after some time it becomes a nice scent. Its a good budget scent, i use it when i go to the gym ;).

Ck one shock for him is this a good cologne to wear to work?

Just one question: Why there's no proper cap for this? You have to replace the sprayer with the bottle cap every single time you want to move the bottle? Will it accidentally spray in your bag if you don't? Doesn't seem portable at all! Like why not just design a cap that goes over the sprayer!??

I have used it in 2012. I got it from California . Used it in India only . Never got a single compliment from this. I personally didn't like it but I didn't have many options . One day it fell from the shelf and bang the bottle broke . I was glad it broke 😊

i bought this a long while ago and i suddenly saw your review about it which is great and i really like this one, so here is the thing the bottle itself underneath it there is no batch code or writing though i checked about the batch code on the box on www.checkfresh.com and it said the batch is 2014 one for this... does it mean this is an authentic one cause i really don't have any lable or writing underneath the bottle and i heard the fake ones can damage your skin cause you don't know what's inside it ? any help ?

oh ok.mine has a sticker beneath...i dont know may be different batch has stickers at different places?mine is newer i think....and for sure fake ones arent good , but you should compare if possible with a friend who owns the same frag...for the smell

Good review but it took so long until real review on smell started

I'm reading alot of posts on Fragrantica and Basenotes that say CK One Shock has very good longevity and sillage. What's the date of your bottle based on the batch code using Checkfresh.com or Checkcosmetic.net. I'm not sure why all Yoututbe reviewers don't make the batch code and batch date a mandatory part of the review. It just takes a minute of research. I tape the batch date and purchase date to all my bottles as soon as I purchase them. I had a feeling your would like it and as soon as I saw the notes, I knew I would like it as well, especially at the price point for the 200 ml bottle. Basenotes adds to Fragrantica's note list purple lavender as a top note and chocolate as a base note. Some reviews state there's a cherry tobacco vibe. Sounds like good stuff! Please add bottle batch dates to your reviews! It at least gives us an idea of the age of the bottles that the discounters are selling.

Shave- a-thon longevity is the worst. projection and opening scent are not really good. but the dry down is really great. i almost finish 200ml bottle because it lacks of longevity.

the opening smells like ink. dry down smells like cream, powder vanilla, coffee, tobacco, tiramisu cake.

Bro check out Lanvin Avant Garde since you like London and Pure Havane and Shock. After I purchased London, I ordered CK One Shock, Lanvin Avant Garde, and Pure Havane. To my nose the best was Avant Garde. It smelled classy and expensive although it was quite inexpensive. Then came Pure Havane, and lastly CK One Shock. CK One Shock is very good for its price but does not smell as rich as Avant Garde and Pure Havane. But I would say the best in this class is Burberry London. Only I wish it had lasted and projected better.

So why do the ratings on Fragrantica states CK One Shock is long lasting and between moderate and heavy sillage? www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Calvin-Klein/CK-One-Shock-For-Him-12520.html Quite a few Basenotes reviewers say the same: www.basenotes.net/fragrancereviews/fragrance/26132531 I've written this numerous times but everyone has to check the batch codes of their bottles and obtain the date of production on the two sites that offer the information. Older bottles and even some newer ones bought from discounters have performance that suffers due to the conditions they were stored in or shipped from.

This is my Batch of CK One Shock. I get moderate longevity and projection. Top note projects well for me but it dies down very fast and becomes almost a skin scent in 2 hours. Batch code 5080 INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE BATCH CODE Production date 2015-03-21 Age 2 years 1 month 8 days Notes the codes are repeated every 10 years

Thanks for the prompt response. It's just my opinion but everyone who owns these fragrances that posts a comment as well as the reviewer should mention their batch dates. It's so important to the review. We would be able to tell if its reformulated from the opinions of those who own the 2011 bottle (if they bought it in 2011). I'm assuming your recently bought this from a discounter and that's why it's a 2 year old bottle. Were you surprised by the production date? The date is just as important as how it was stored before and after it arrived at the discounter's place of business and just as important as that is the temperature of the truck that's delivering it to you. For example, on a hot, humid and steamy day, that bottle has to be boiling in a 3rd party delivery truck which probably doesn't have air conditioning for the cargo in the back. For that reason, I try not to order fragrances during the summer months unless the temperature is unseasonably cooler than usual.

If we all would have known there was actually a "fragrance community" back in the 1980's, we would have bought cases of those powerhouse fragrances with their original formulas. I might have had a closet stocked with Obsession, Drakkar, Azzaro Pour Homme, Chanel Pour Monsieur, and the one I really miss, Pierre Cardin Musk! I would have even bought a few cartons of some of the drugstore brands that have changed, been sold or both, A storage facility full of original bottles of Shulton Old Spice, Brut by Faberge, Mem's English Leather, and Jovan Musk would be worth plenty!
