Calvin’s testimony of deliverance from crack is similar to my own. I went through drug rehab in Houston and wandered the streets in very bad neighborhoods at night buying drugs. But Jesus delivered me. I have been in ministry in over 150 nations for 34 years now. Glory to God! 🙌🏻

Praise the Lord @ kelly Coleman my testimony as well and I had the pleasure of seeing this brother in person at a church in cleveland around the time i was delivered back in 1993
I had the privilege to sing with Calvin In the christ tabernacle quire we was very blessed. All his songs were anointed someday will meet again in God Great quire praise 👏 the Lord Hallelujah 🙌 I share his song and people are blessed 🙌
Years ago , I rented this video of the Brooklyn tabernacle and it was about different people whose lives God had Changed and Bro. Calvin was one of the persons and I was so blessed by his testimony and the song "I'm Clean. I cried throughout the whole video and the testimony. God is still saving and delivering people today. PRAISE HIS WONDERFUL NAME

I have been listening to Cslvin Hunt for years I Love this one and No longer I, Its like its coming for my heart. His testamony is just like mine. I Love Brookyn Tabernacle. Praise the Lord for that church and its choir.
My best freind my brother my mentor my teacher love you for so many reasons miss your phone calls from other countries plaYing ball the rehearsals we were gonna be the next. Best band then djs and rap artist came in and destroyed our plan but look u became a gospel star I am very proud of the work you left us and I no your family loves and have your music to hold on too we miss and love you dearly my brother
When I heard his voice edifying God. Wow, it was music to my ears via music, arrangements and voice. Myself being called out of professional music of 31 years I truly appreciated this God given talent. All his music is anointed of The Lord and ministers to multitudes. His testimony is only God as Mercy saw him. As outreach director he gave me something to use as long as I breathe. But the day I read that he had been called home I cried and was heartbroken. For I wanted more music. God being in control said no, his race is over. God bless his precious praying wife and family. This brother is seated by God the way the Lord our God used him to his Glory and i know that many are still getting touch by his testimony and the praising of his songs you can see he was very dedicated to the Lord of Lord , the I Am, the Jehovah of king of all kings R i p brother and we will all eat one day together Amen
He was my godfather and I miss him so much. I haven't seen him in person since May of 2008 when my father got remarried. He was his best man and he sung at the marriage. Rest In Peace, Calvin. I love you so much.

Bro Calvin Hunt came to Restoration Temple in Brooklyn, NYC and shared his testimony, it was so quiet, that you could have heard a "pin" Dropped. ..I just can't forget it , there was such a calm, quiet presence? weeks ago , he was in my thoughts and I was saying in my heart - I wonder what's up with Calvin Hunt?? then I came on youtube and read that he had step into eternity since 2009 ... and I just can't stop playing this song, (it's on repeat) ,what an amazing voice. His ministry has touched/and is touching many RIP/SIP Bro Calvin Hunt , see ya in GLORY

I only had the opportunity to meet Calvin once but in that meeting I was completely impressed by how the Holy Spirit seemed to completely control him. The joy of the Lord shone through him and just made me fall in love with Jesus more. Thank you Calvin for your love and testimony of the Lord Jesus while here on earth. Looking forward to hearing you sing with the angels in heaven some day when I get there too.

Amen marie, awesome testimony, I also met him in Cleveland and he did an awesome concert and gave his testimony and what was so awesome is I had just recovered from crack and alcohol and my wife stepped away and when he came back she had Calvin's dvd of his testimony on vhs.....I still have it and all his cds....and galatians s 2:20 has always been my favorite verse since my conversion and here he is singing about that verse...everytime I listen to this song on here or my fone the opening of the song make me reflect on how far our Lord has bought me.....Glory to God and Amen.....
What an amazing, beautiful spirit this man was..
I am so saddened to hear of his passing and that it has taken this long for me to learn of it. Blessings to his wife and children ~ I know he touched many people with his life's testimony, as well as his spirit-filled voice. Had the privilege of singing a duet with Calvin in 2003, and I will look forward to singing with him again some day in heaven!
R.I.P. Calvin. You are truly missed!

Arrianna Silva god bless him. I saw him in church as a kid. I didn’t know what struggles were ahead of me. But what an inspiration. God rest his soul I know he’s with the Lord. I can picture him in my mind.

Calvins story touched me deeply when I first heard it many years ago. Thoughts of him, his bold testimony, and what the Lord did in his life come to my mind now and then as I travel through this life, and I have shared his story with others along the way.
