He has such a fear of the electric clipper with all the noise and vibrations and using traditional scissors wasn't working either - it took me too long and wore his patience thin.

FYI: I don't end up showing any of Peter's haircut because I wanted to keep this video short, but it turned out great.
And one more haircutting tip: Give your child a damp washcloth so they can wipe hair off their face when needed. Joseph is getting so accepting of haircuts that I never even had to use that trick with him, but I did give Peter a wet washcloth because he always asks for one.

Been thinking about getting these for my son. He hates the Clippers and haircuts have gotten so bad, that he hasn't been to the barbershop in about 7 months. It's been a struggle for almost 5 years and he's almost now and it's just too much now, as he's getting bigger and stronger. This cut actually looks really good. Better than some of the other calming Clippers videos I've seen. I think I'm going to give these a try.

I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now. My 4 year old son has autism and is nonverbal. He cries and has a hard time when I cut his hair with clippers. I was looking online to see about purchasing something to help calm him while cutting his hair and came across this older video of yours. Thank you so much for posting this review! Ruby, I hope the calming clipper helps with haircuts. Giving Joe a haircut was the most difficult thing when he was younger.
