Try holding him EVER, instead of posing him for the camera. Infant primates desperately need to cling and to suck. This baby is always frantic, looking for something he can cling to. It’s painful to watch how unhappy and scared he is. They suck to soothe themselves, and no wonder he needs to be soothed. This woman’s voice is one of the most grating sounds I’ve ever heard. He sucks his thumbs/ fingers because the nipple is constantly falling out of his mouth. All these abusers of baby monkeys are the same-they can’t be bothered to do the things that infant primates need. If you can’t or won’t give them proper care, stop buying them from poachers, or whatever other evil ways you’re getting them.

You guys do know that when these pet monkeys grow up ( they get a lot bigger ) they aren’t so cute and harder to control , they are dumped back in the forest to fend for themselves. As they have grown up being pampered it’s all they know and they can not cope on their own

You understand if a macaque reaches adulthood and is aggressive toward its caregiver, that's the fault of the caregiver. Treating a non human primate with the love of a human child but respecting it as a monkey, you'll never see aggression from it. I raised mine 33 years. Not a single issue. Not even a hint of this screaming , self harming crap these idiots bring out in these babies. They're easy to raise. Let them cling 3 to 4 months. Keep a nipple available for comfort. And 2 oz every two hours of PLANT BASED BABY FORMULA NOT SOY! Toys for mental stimulation. Rope swings jungle gym for physical growth. I never owned a cage. Never. He had a bedroom of his own. But slept with us in bassinet next to our bed until he was 6 .months. perfect pet. Beautiful family member. And I miss him dearly.

Cheap Dupro a cow's milk formula. Gives them bloating from gas and either diarrhea or constipation. Dupro is banned in the States and the UK.
