Calm Down Kit For Autism & Other Special Needs

In this replay of a FB Live mini-training, I talk about how autistic children may need to start with co-regulation before they can self-regulate. I also talk about the concept of "interoception" and how that can affect self-regulation.
Then, the idea of using a calming kit is discussed, with several examples shown. The Autism Little Learners Calming Kit can be found at: www.teacherspayteachers.com/P...

Hello! I love your products but what I am dying to know is what program you used to make this video? I have to do a slideshow presentation for my summer class and would love to use this format. Thanks!

Hi Paulette...thank you so much! I made it on Canva and then used a program called Ecamm Live. I put the slides up and then I was able to put myself "in the circle" while I went live. You can get a free subscription to Canva and watch some You Tube tutorials to learn how to use it!
