Thanks Jeff! The idea of my videos is to give people smartcuts so they don't have to learn the hard way!

So true with lack of knowledge at different scrap yards. I have commented before about the huge difference in price from yard to yard. I don't know how they stay in business with such crappy service and prices. I think they just prey upon people's stupidity of not checking prices. Don't these yards realize we are the customers that keep them in business! Just started seeing scrap yard posting the prices like a stock quote no bullshit about what the price is or they ate big enough to not nickle and dime you. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Joe! And so true, hopefully things will change! I can't explain their mentality either! Guess they are just old school! Sometimes that can be a bad thing!

Hey stupid question probably if the scrap yard had aquired something your wanting like say an anvil would it be worth it to ask them if they have one laying around or of they get one you could ask to buy it from them?

Clay, That is not stupid at all! It never hurts to ask a yard, but it all depends on them. Most likely they will say yes but they are going to sell it to you for more than scrap value. That's only because it's not their primary business (in most cases), and it takes time out from what they are doing. But even so, you will still get it way cheaper than brand new! I save all the anvils I find because they are awesome! I can't believe how many people scrap anvils! Hope that helps!

Do you ever work with shredders ? If so can you make a video on the fluff that comes off after the magnet separates the steel

would you recommend ringing for largish amounts of non ferrous, eg you have a fair idea it will be over 2 grand

You should try phoning some scrapyards here in the U.K., Hello kind sir, I have 30tons of clean copper, Would you be interested in buying it" Scrapyard ' YEAH I'LL GIVE YOU AN APPLE FOR IT, NOW PISS OFF' There not very helpful Love the vids🤣🤣🤣
