What makes a recruiter successful?
1. Sourcing/Identifying a candidate? (Of course this is the first step)
2. Matching the job description with the resume? (Ctrl+F kills all your creativity, one must read the resume line by line)
3. Rate?
4. TAT?
5. Screening?

Hey Suman, 1stly good to see you on official KZread channel...2nd thing I am glad that I am the first person to leave the comment here 😊. This footage is absolutely informative for a typical recruiter who always do a generic recruitment. But above all there are some instances where still the recruiter probably miss the boat i.e owing to many reasons as same job assigned to multiple recruiters, dual submission within same portal, lack of communication between recruiters & management; corporate politics etc..makes the potential recruiters screw up the things..so kindly could you pls make an another footage with some solid points that management should follow or comprise towards avert such situations for winning the race so that the effort that recruiter puts won't go in vain..sorry for the big comment 😉 looking forward to hearing from you soon..all the best again

Thanks, Sajid, you took time watching the video and commenting with your thoughts. Let me share my views on your queries. 1. Lack of communication between recruiters & management; corporate politics: I total agree with you on these points because it will affect the emotional and behavioral side of the recruiter. Again, these are very subjective in nature and depends upon person to person. I see there is only one way to avoid it and that is to work with matured team leads or managers or owners whose vision is not only to make money but also to maintain a healthy environment on the floor. 2. The same job assigned to multiple recruiters, dual submission within the same portal: It is all in the game so we can minimize it with a smart way of working but can't avoid it. If someone is working on dedicated SOW projects or internal hire, will not have these issues. End of the day lack of interaction and improper questioning to the candidates will lead to fewer placements or none. That is what should be the recruiters primary goal and focus point to self improvement day in and day out. It is always easy to play our victim card vs owning responsibility.

No need of thus much seriousness in approaching the candidate. Whether u may follow all these or not. If u offer a good pay he will accept. Negotiation is not needed that much when our company is offering a cutscale then directly offer the candidate. Automatically he will get in. And mostly whether he crack the interview or not is totally dependent on the candidate. Becoz at the end of the day u need submissions so it is an easy process. Concentrate on submissions u will get closures automatically
