Hey! Procreate is raster based, so the short answer is no (at least not directly from Procreate). However, you can work at extremely high resolution in Procreate and export the artwork as JPG/PNG or even PSD. I normally pull my work off of Procreate in PSD and vectorize it from there. You can always trace it manually, but Image Trace in Illustrator works fine. If you have a Mac, check out the app Image Vectorizer (it's amazing and if I recall correctly, it's only a few bucks).

Hey, if you go to the brush settings, select the shape panel, then toggle the Azimuth setting, it will become fixed. You can also adjust the circular rotation below that setting depending on the orientation of your iPad to get the proper angle. These were designed to be freely orienting so your mileage might vary with certain brushes. Don’t give up on the pen tilt though, I know it’s a bit tough to learn but you’ll get it in time and it makes a huge difference once you get the hang of it!

Hey there, if you adjust the "azimuth" setting in the brush shape panel, you can also change the orientations from fixed to free-rotation. Feel free to send me an email if you run into any issues - happy to help if needed!

@@JakeRainis Quick question, I noticed I also purchased your Blackletter brush pack. A little overkill now that I own a few sets with overlap. However, I noticed in your practice sheets, I can’t hit some of the angles without setting the brush to not change based on screen orientation and then move the sheet around. Is there a way to not do this and have the brush operate as an analog, so I can get certain angles without having to “game” it by moving the workspace or changing the brush angle? If that is what you meant with the above setting, gotcha.

@@limitedhangoutlive Yes, that setting should alleviate the need to adjust anything each time you need a variation. If it would be helpful, send me an email and I can share a video demonstration of how to adjust the pen as well as how to manipulate it for variations.

Unfortunately not at this time - Procreate has some unique features that make the brushes look and behave as they do, which isn't supported (at least not yet) in PS/Affinity.

Hey sorry you went digging - I never plugged it because it’s honestly a piece of junk I got for a couple bucks off Amazon years ago that doesn’t even have a brand name. If you search for Apple Pencil silicon covers, you should be able to find something similar - and superior to whatever it is I bought.

@@JakeRainis Ive started getting pains in my grip due to how slim the pencil is. I've tried a lot of other grips/covers and it seems to be not working well. Must be me forcing / gripping my pencil too much to control it. Thanks for the reply.

@@vonvyrus I've suffered from the same death grip... This sounds a little ridiculous but give it a shot; Assuming you're right handed, try taking a regular pencil and holding it eraser-side down against the table with your left hand you're writing with your right hand. It's a subconscious way to offset your balance and tension. Might not work for everyone, but it's a tip I'm always anxious to share with others since it's done wonders for me.

Wait is procreate available for Android too? Sure would end the risky days of practicing in bed before sleep yeah it happened, I’m a dumbass. In my defense it was when I first started calligraphy and copperplate was my weapon of choice. I would do it on my lunch break and get in trouble coming back late to work, I was hungry still am, I suck but I absolutely love Calligraphy and it’s counterpart Calligraffiti kind of an obsession at this point. Hell I’ve been known to pull the car over to the side of the road and get strapped in the drivers seat just to see the letter “D” I thought of a way to do it differently. I love watching videos of all y’all killers laying down Ink like Biblical scribes and I get a fire inside my gut from the inspiration y’all give me it lights a fire in me, you can put that on my momma & my poppa. I don’t care if I get to some of y’all’s are strait God mode or not because mad respect to you all and safe travels to you who are cheers

Hey Giovanni, many prefer not learning the nuances of brush configuration, which is why I create sets to help people. But I do show people how to create brushes as well - it's not hard, check out the Procreate documentation. And in fact, if you dig a little deeper, I have tons of free blackletter resources available on my website. All are welcome to them, even passive aggressive folks like yourself :).

Hey! Technically, it should import fine into Procreate pocket, however I'd actually recommend against purchasing this set if you're planning to do so. What makes these brushes so performant is how they react to the pressure and gesture of the Apple Pencil on an iPad. With that said, I think you'll be disappointed with them if you use them in Procreate pocket. Sorry!
