What would it effectively do to the loft and lie if you were to line up the bottom cog at +1 top cog at D but when you put the head of the club on you align that tick mark with the top cog at -1 and bottom cog at D It will go on and mesh. I don't have the equipment to measure loft and lie. But to my eye at address, it appears to have decreased loft with little flatter lie. Is that possible?

Great hack, Ryan! Question: if you change out the lower one or upper one that has D on it, will it change to a fade? The Mavrik is two more degrees upright at 58* and I am trying to experiment with flattening lie angle without going to 56* SubZero. This would be way better than getting the red tour sleeve because I would not have to pull the glued part off. If yes, what amount of angle would it flatten it to? Thanks!

Hey Ryan, I don't want this to come off as accusatory, but where did you receive the information regarding this 'hack'? How have you confirmed that it actually does what you are intending? The reason I ask, is that after watching your video and numerous others on the topic, I ordered a LH optifit hosel to reduce my 5 wood by 2 degrees. Unfortunately, I only found out after buying it, that this does not actually achieve what you are stating it does. I have done quite a bit of research in the GolfWRX community as well as contacting Callaway directly. Callaway's answer is that all possible settings remain the same whether its LH or RH, they just won't read as the stated setting if using the opposite handed hosel. Max reduction on a LH hosel installed on a RH club is still -1. They will provide you with a chart on request for the stated vs. actual settings while using the opposite hand hosel. I would appreciate you either clarifying where I'm misunderstanding the hack you are referring to, or recommend doing some research as to whether it does in fact allow a -2 loft setting and possibly removing/amending this video. I'm either confused as to what you are suggesting, or you are (unknowingly) spreading false information, which at $65 CAD per Optifit hosel, is quite frustrating.
