Brilliant review Dan always love the honesty in your reviews, because I'm teaching all the time I get a hit with all the new drivers , and to be totally honest I hate changing , I still use the Taylormade M4 driver , but I do like trying different shafts in it once a year at my M8 fitting centre , so this year I've put in the fujikura vista pro x flex in , a bit more stable than my old shaft and helps me stay on a tighter line , Would be interesting seeing a vlog using your driver with different shafts in to see if you find something say if you play a stiff shaft trying different torque shafts etc , and great for viewers who can't always afford new drivers , when there is an option to change a shaft for say 70quid to fit in there existing driver head , hope that made sense , keep up the great work M8 .... I love the look of the crown in the sun and I've always been a big fan of Callaway. A few of guys I know have fit into the 💎💎💎 that normally wouldn't ever be able to hit it. Very impressive from them this year.

I just tested the driver today they put me in the triple diamond with a 40 gram regular I had my best numbers in years

It’s funny. I use the old Paradigm TD but was fit into the Max head with a 10g weight in the front. That turned that max head into a beast with much tighter dispersion and that is is with a 115mph ss at crushing speed. I was shocked. Shaft is Tensei White 70x

Fabulous review, Dan. Keep it up. I'm in the market for a new set of clubs this year, so I'll be looking at most of the big boys, including last years Titleist drivers. The only club that will stay in the bag is my trusty Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Select.

Another great review Dan while I like the look of this driver. Again it’s about will it make that much difference to someone’s game,possibly not like all drivers so it’s really about if you want to spend the money.

Great review Dan. I guess for me this year if I change anything in my bag it’s woods… so I am interested in the these, but which one? I remember a couple of years or more now we had fun out at Newquay and I got to try a Mavik and loved it. But will any of these improve what I have now I wonder, the TS1. At my level anyway.

You struck it better than a lot of the PGA Tour pros, I saw some wild shots into the deep rough by some of those guys at the weekend.

Good to see you move the weight to see if it works, not many try this.

Dan just watched your vlog on the Ai smoke drivers with all these sweet spots . My question is ,, so when you go for a fitting of this type of new driver and let’s say like myself my miss is left ,, won’t these preset sweet spots be obsolete? as surely these sweet spots are set behind every club face as standard ? . So how does a fitting compensate for degrees in face and flex of shaft . Would love to know how you see this !!. And keep those Sunday Morning shows going , fantastic watch 👍

Bought a new stealth 2 a month ago Dan used it once and love it the chances of me breaking the face are 0 so ill play it and see what happens

got the tripple diamond on its way to me now.. first 'new' driver i bought in yrs.. i always get mine on the club trader page for good deals

I had a fitting for the Callaway Max, I didn’t get on with it, didn’t like the looks or the feel of it, so tested the TaylorMade QI 10 Max, now that was much better. Thought it looked better felt better and must have been 10 or so yards further, so for me it’s the TaylorMade all day long.

Waiting to test these as no demos in our pro shop yet 😞 though I think the qi10 max I tried will take some beating tbh

Good review. Will be interested when you put them head to head. Not sure how much difference we will see for us mere mortals. At the end of the day it will come down to distance and dispersion.

Our Pro tested all the new drivers recently out in Dubai, this was the only Driver that he saw a significant gain in distance. (Not that he needs it!!) 💣 💣

Didn’t hit the low spin cobra then

Watched a lot (I mean a lot😊)of the reviews on all the new releases with various handicap golfers and the callaway max and max d seam to give the best distance with forgiveness, ping latest is the most forgiving but is down on distance the taylormade is no different to the stealth 2 , cobra is also forgiving but further down on distance to the ping Personally like the callaway but need to try everything to see what is best for me in the end

Smoke max D suits you best imho ...aim down the right boom

I like when you do reviews; I feel like you are so trustworthy.

Off for my annual hit of all of the new releases at Precision Golf on Friday. Not expecting anything to oust my TSR2 but you never know. I prefer this general look/colour scheme to the original Paradym but wish they hadn't used all those different fonts on the text. Looks like my 7 year old did the text design on the head!

Good review Dan. It all nonsense what these company. Why do they not it a lttle more forgiving on off centre hits. Just a little.

Looks very nice, but as you say so little gains on what’s already out there at a more attractive price now.

Going to be interesting to see you change up the golf gear, Dan. What will you choose when left untethered to a particular brand? Are we witnessing a “build a bag” series?

I prefer the look of last years model better. Be good to see a comparison of last year's model to the Smoke AI.

oops wrong written intro dan! anyway i tried the ai smoke and it didn't give me any better results than my epic max ls but tried the qi10 and that gave good dispersion and another 10 yards

These companies have to get rid of the transition between titanium and the carbon. Carbon on the crown is fine, I just can't stand seeing that hard line. Taylormade finally figured it out.

love my triple D from last year. no chevron is really nice. totally a distraction for me.

I think they look cheap and tacky, that smoke effect on the bottom is terrible.
