That transition from "Dies Irae" to the iconic round change theme never gets old.

Still as epic as when I was a kid. Still a great game. Although I gotta say it got a lot darker when I played the campaign when I got older. It just was a pew pew game for kid me. Oh how I was wrong.

That moment when 1 cinematic is better, and more historically accurate than every WWII Call of Duty since...

Definitely one of the most epic WWII games of the 2000s. CoD2 made you feel like a hero, CoD WaW made you feel like a victim, lol.

I appreciate the weight and simplicity of this intro. It's not overly flashy but instead shows the true brutal history of world war 2. The old cod and moh games definitely carried that historical accuracy and weight a lot more than games today by a long shot. Definitely the best of the best fps of all time.

this intro lives rent free in my head. Still gives me goosebumps when I fire up the game

@@Paleto-A1 Cod as a whole and especially MW (the old and new ones) Are actually assisted in creation by the US army, yes the legit US army, they have a division based in games, they made a entire us army proving grounds game too. They are also allegedly who helps write the US stories. The ones that blamed russia for an American warcrime, and the whole over the top “US are good” themes.

@@jmgonzales7701 not to mention the removal of visceral gore in waw you see legs blown off heads explode soldiers writhing in there own guts it feels real it's the last game to do that no wamen soldiers or any of that crap there not afraid to show a swastika in a game about WW2 they don't sugar coat things either they show you the ugly details of war killing POWs burning people alive torture war crimes

Hands down the best COD intro. The song along with the WW2 clips, the artillery, the soviet march, the planes and the explosion illuminating the screen revealing a soldier with a flame thrower its just an absolute masterpiece🔥

The most incredible brutality and magnificent war game i played in my life❤️❤️❤️

That mozart dies irae in start is "Quantus tremor est futurus Quando judex est venturus Cunta stricte discussurus" translated to What a terror it will be, When the Judge will come, To judge us all harshly. Will forever send chills down my spine hearing day of wrath in this intro, and it perfectly sums up the world at the time and the wrath of the Reich

The campaign of this game is the only one that i genuinely enjoyed playing trough like all the other eventually got a bit boring and i was just playing for the story but WAW was way different the whole game just felt fun to play trough and i was always eager to play the next mission both for the story and gameplay
