Honestly. Franchise fatigue hit way long ago. Modern Warfare was a breath of fresh air, and that was only 2 years ago, and already I’m sick of seeing its engine in 2 worse looking games. Plus I blame artificial hype from content creators. Making the game seem like a big deal when in reality this just looks like a add on expansion more than a game on its own.

@@theclawlives world at war was gritty and ruthless. It captured the horrific aspects of war, that’s what gave it the immersion. WW2 and Vanguard look like a Disney movie compared to WAW. Maybe we are old and growing out of it, maybe COD just isn’t as appealing idk. Seems like the older games had more character to them.

Was hoping this one would give the same feeling as Cod World at War but I think I'm just past the CoD enjoying part of my life at this point

Yeah cause Warzone is a battle royale lol. The TTK for the base guns is actually slower than MW. However with attachments you can cut the TTK in half, which is probably why Sledgehammer allowed 10 attachments, so that people are either forced to grind the weapons for months or purchase overpriced weapon reskins with fire rate and damage increasing attachments.

game: WW2 players: wearing british uniform in both sides factions: "my team" vs "enemy team" weapons: cold war and enemy factions atachments: like 10, cursed and futuristic (for mas produced guns should be NONE) im not complaining about realisim but about inmersion. in battelfield 1 (the best war game for inmersion) you have guns that were barely used in ww1 but are from around the period and prototypes, there was chaos and confusion, the ambient, explosions, the bayonet push... in vanguard well... lets just say "inmersion" was not a part they did at all. "ahhh yes! my granpa fought in shipement for his country called "my team" using a 1950 gun with 7 atachments and a holographic sigth shooting guys with the very same uniform as him" really, the game is mediocre and for a WW2 setting inmersion is a piece of garbage on that aspect.

@@NewSagaMusic ‘Nydar’ sights (pretty much a reflex optic) existed but were mainly used on ships and aircraft. I think there were prototypes developed for usage on small arms but they never went into production. It’s a little weird but then again WAW had a red dot for the MP40 so it’s alright I suppose.

I fell out of COD pre BO2, and then got back into it for MW2019-CW-Vanguard and out of the three the literal beta for a broken mess of a game was the most fun out of all three that I've had. It brought me back to WaW multiplayer and I made a semi auto class and played pretty much all day every day of the beta

that lens flare had me n the boys cackling for like 20 minutes

I hate that call of duty randomizes the lobby every time. Prolly makes going to the next game even slower. And there’s no rematch or tension building tryna beat the team ya lost to if ya lost ya know. You could always leave. COD sucks

Game looks painfully generic, even for a CoD game, and from what I've been told the beta is godawful. This will be a fun development.
