I definitely agree, because I looked at this game as a movie. If this movie came out during the early 2000 BSG, 24, etc. It would make some serious coin, but after MWII and MWIII (Which I didn't buy), I gave up on this franchise.

By a miracle they revived the franchise. Then they drove it right back into the fuckin ground.

I'm saying. I used to pre-order call of duty every year. Now they don't compare to the combat atmosphere of battlefields games and the run-and-gun is getting fazed out by open map combat games.

Yeah, that MW was really good, 2 was maybe not the best, but playable, but 3 is just trash, mud, and shit. I don't know what u need to have in mind, to destroy piece of art like that.

I was riddled with tears watching Farah and Hadir’s backstory. COD is truly a masterpiece

Really appreciate this. So sad that despite owning this game I have to watch the cutscenes here due to all the cutscenes lagging on Xbox One. 3 years after the game launched it's still an issue and yet the Warzone cutscenes have always run smooth as butter from day one. But i guess since they weren't making money from MW 2019 only Warzone, they never bothered to fix the issue.

@@hamburgermeat3 Warzone and all other video game cutscenes are pre-rendered so they run smoothly with no problems. MW 2019 for some stupid reason are not, so they use up all 100% of the Console's GPU, thus freezing and lag. Skipping the cutscenes is literally like skipping half the game.

I would at some point Western media like movies and video games to show the affect of American missiles and drone strikes. The US has killed a hell of a lot of innocent people in the Middle East. Actually they have been depicted albeit weirdly blamed on the Russian. For example the highway of death (the one seen in the sniper mission with the big road) is the result of irl US bombardment in Iraq. I guess they are too scared to release a game where the Americans are the bad guys because if it gets banned in the US, their sales will flop, given how big the videogame market is there.

I feel like I just watched a Movie

For me personally 2019 mw to mw3 is fine storytelling. Just put all the "mainstream problems" that the company and devs have aside. Lore wise it is a great story. COD should get more respect for that part alone. (and hopefully keep on storytelling with a decent development group that can create a decent milsim multiplayer game)

To me this is modern warfare the sequel series. A rebooted take of the original. Maybe it’s more like set when after world war 3 which original Vladimir Makarov caused ended and it’s set years after the original modern warfare and it’s captain price is the nephew of the original modern warfare price.
