This game along with Battlefield Bad Company 2 gave me so many good memories. One funny story I have from CoD4 is from back in 2009 on the day Michael Jackson died. I was playing on Strike which was my favorite map and all of a sudden people started to flood the chat with the news that Michael Jackson had passed away. I remember pressing alt+tab and checking some random news website to confirm. All players on the server decided to gather in the middle of the map and make a 1 minute of silence in tribute to the king of pop lol eventually people started shooting at each other again.

1:30 where he runs up the stairs. I have a memory where I needed three headshots to get red tiger on the m16. A burst gun. I rounded the corner like he did and didn't go up the stairs but straight through. A guy ran out from the shop to the left. I fired my burst m16 and dropped three people. Apparently there was one in the street and one across the street. All three headshots in one burst. One of those pics or it didn't happen moments and i of course don't have proof. Always played hardcore back in the day. Insane memories growing up. I was 14 I think when this dropped.

Still a lot of chaotic fun.

still the og of modern shooters. absolutely loved this game back then, great maps, mostly good weapon balancing and simple but effective killstreak rewards. no fluff and cosmetic shit like nowadays, just pure fun.

the cod4 jump servers and paintball servers were the best

My potato laptop is dying soon, but once I get my 50 series laptop. I'm redownloading this game and play it . Its just soo much nostalgia playing this espeicially back in the days of playing the broadcast 24/7 server :'(

Nothing, if you have cd version like i do, patch it to the latest version. If you have Steam version it will be auto patched and ready to go

while western and european move along with side cancel dumblobby cartoon skin battle ground poop we asian still play real face to face combat. we still play cod4 mp and mw2. you can host a event
