This game started my love of WW2 history

CoD 2 and CoD United Offensive are the best CoDs until today. Playing just an ordinary Soldier is so much more intense than being Part of a suder duper Special Unit!!

One of the OG Captain Price looks. What a great game. Nice mods too! They look nicely animated and don't detract from the overall gritty and somewhat shiny feel of Cod2.

Brought back some memories bro❤ it was 2012 and i was in highschool when i first played this game and it was my first experience of CoD games. CoD2 has a special place in my heart, right next to OG MW1.

I played this game in 2008

Imo, CoD 2 was peak CoD, single and multiplayer. It was immersive, CoD 4 and CoD WaW were cool in itself, but I hated the direction the MP were going, like that everyone could have all weapons, instead of faction specific, like k98 and Mp40 for germany and thompson, m1 for us, etc... And the shitty kill streaks and perks... Back in the day it was all about map knowledge, aim and reaction and how skilled you were with your trusty ol´ bolt action^^

This is nice I wish I could do this on my xb 360!

@@gringobronx7670 Yeah I understand the general quality but I talking about the mods used to alter weapon appearance and sounds and the extra shaders. I just wish I knew how to do all that filing stuff but I can't see to find anything that helps😭

Vanguard is such a Garbage!!!! I am so happy, CoD2 is running on my 2021 PC!!

Can this be played multiplayer with all these custom made stuff ??

I am not sure but it is worth to try. I know that there are servers with some custom maps and mods.

It should run without problems. For mods to work properly, you need to add command „set com_hunkMegs 512” in launch properties.
