I know it is extremely unlikely but it would be awesome if all these one shots could connect to each other somehow. Like say eva is descended from henrietta or henrietta is ancestor to your character from the space show you did, eclipse I believe it was called.

Becca was actually correct in giving the Madam a dodge roll but not Chaz. He attacked the ghoul and it fought back and eviscerated him, he doesn't get to dodge cause the ghoul is already opposing his attack roll which sadly failed. The ghoul attacked her, so she gets to dodge or fight back like she did. So despite Becca worrying, she actually ruled correctly as far as the 7th edition CoC rulebook is concerned

OMG i love every aspect of this. “It’s an accessory.” “To murder.” 😂

I wanted to point out to folks that this is a really great example of how easy it is to convert older Call of Cthulhu material to 7th edition. Becca has been using 7th for the Calyx and you can see how effortlessly she plays a 2nd Edition scenario here. Call of Cthulhu is not like other games. It is so easy to convert between editions, largely because BRP has been elegant as a system for it's entire lifespan. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that this game was re-booted with every new edition like so many games are! I've been collecting the whole catalogue.

So true. I only have a few months into CoC and when I was doing research on current adventures for 7ed I notice that Chaosium promotes older modules, first I was thinking that maybe they were targeting collectors who missed those in the past but would not be compatible with 7ed but the more I researched the more I learned that the compatibility was very easy so that's why they still selling older supplements.

I have known about the game for decades but just recently began playing it and the compatibility of older edition modules with the new edition rulebook makes me want to get into it even more. Other more mainstream ttrpg's should follow the same formula.

Genuinely, I can do the conversation in my head. Multiply everything by 5 and replace/ignore unneeded Skills (like if they have brawl and axe.). Or I'll use the newer version of a creature (like in the Asylum, using a modern proto-shogoth instead of the one provided).

Becca, you're such a damn good Keeper! You make the flow between storytelling and game mechanics look seamless, it's an inspiration.

Absolutely love seeing Becca and B Dave play Call of Cthulhu! For those who haven’t checked out The Calyx, Becca’s games are always amazing there as well.

That moment when you realize that, in another life, ALL of these investigators were vampires (Victor Temple, Annabelle, Eva and X).

This was my very first time watching Becca GMing, I can safely say that it won't be the last time. She's amazing (the investigators as well obviously, but gotta love an enthusiastic Keeper

Jacques and Jack really are THE versatile tool ! I laughed whole heartedly at this game, it was a real treat. Thanks a bunch !

This was without a doubt *the* most scandalous session of Call of Cthulhu I’ve ever seen! The Keeper was stellar and the ensemble cast of players made it a joy to watch. I hope there’s more to come because this was worth every bit of sanity I may have lost in the process of watching!😄

This table is a class act. Very entertaining, very impressive. And super skillfully roleplayed by _everyone_. What an awesome (re)introduction to Call of Cthulu! (I played a one-shot several years ago and had a lot of fun.)

Josephine is absolute gold in this episode. Her ability to fully embody the character is just next level. I just got done watching her in Graveyards of Arkham and her slow decent into insanity in correlation to her attire was masterful.

Very well done. Loved the cast, the Keeper, and the set. This compares favorably with "Shadow of the Crystal Palace" from Critical Role.

What do I have to summon to get these five people back together again? This was an amazing one-shot! Kudos to the players and the keeper for a fantastic RP session, everyone really embodied the characters (and not due to the outfits, although it was definitely a bonus!) and the story - I didn't want it to end!

My grandmother is upper crust socialite (a friend of President Ford) and Henrietta (the 6th and 7th) sounds EXACTLY like her. Enough that this episode made me want to find time to go visit her soon!

My favorite Call of Cthulhu game I've seen so far and I haven't even finished yet. The players are not only great at roleplaying and navigating the game, but also great at supporting each other. You'd be surprised how much good laughing at someone's joke can do for a table. A lot has been said about Becca's work and rightfully so. Also, what an amazing dress to have for this game. Also also, that wallpaper is just **chef's kiss**.

30 mins in and I feel like this is the best representation of the extravagant early 20th century eccentrics. Lol. I'm loving all of this.

Such a fluidity between all the participants. The role playing, the dialogues, the character immersion it's all just incredibly round here. Thanks for the experience. ❤ The game master's wit, dedication and devotion is a lot of fun!

I live in a small town and have no one to play roleplaying games with. Then I discovered online DnD and now I have a fantastic group! Tabletop RPGs rule!

Acting by everyone was superb. I've never seen Becca Scott GM before and it was awesome to watch.

@@erichammer2751 The first several seasons are on KZread, then it moved to the WorldofDarkness channel on Twitch. Jason Carl is the GM (I think they call it a storyteller in that system). It is D20 based. B. Dave Walters and Erica Ishii are two of the main characters. Josephine McAdams basically becomes a main character later in the series. Xander and Becca are delightful part-time characters. I highly recommend it!

Yes! I was hoping that this was the same Auction that I had played through with my Medium *cough*Con Artist*cough* several years ago. As soon as I heard "Henrietta" mention the sword, I knew it was indeed THAT Auction. :D It's so fun watching/listening to other people running through this. PS: My character got possession of the sword at the end, lol. EDIT: I looked on my character sheet (the character is still alive and relatively sane). I indeed have the Sword of Azoth written on it, as well as having possession of the brazen head, and the scroll for the head, and I have learned a spell from it. LOL! This is so awesome watching this run-through of an adventure I was able to play.

This was a bucket of fun to watch and makes me miss playing an old school C of C rpg. Well done to everyone and thanks so much for sharing it. Word of advise, safe the last bullet.

I remember watching this at the tail end of the pandemic. I would watch a little on the bus to work and a little on my way back home. It was a comfort watching it after very hard workdays, just letting my mind escape into their world for a bit. Thoroughly enjoyed them all!

All of my favorites (taking nothing away from those not at the table!!) such a good time watching.

There should be another one shot of them traveling to Qumran to return the Dead Sea Scrolls so they could be discovered twenty years later by Bedouin shepherds

The COC 7th edition has a table for random madness results. The amnesia effect there (which is presumably what happened here) wears off after a couple of hours.

Becca is such a treasure, really enjoy her playing in Black Dice as well. Great energy! 👍🏻
