I did my english final on Jimmy Stewart. He was a true American. One interesting piece of trivia about him is he was a pilot and a war hero and barely made weight for the Air Force. He was also adamant about no publicity regarding his service.

Pretty funny that the opening talks about how violent Chicago used to be. Seventy years after the movie, it's more violent than it's ever been.

All we would need is a couple of reporters and a newspaper that had enough guts to investigate those in power and inform the public about the truth. Yes, it would be a good world outside if people were brave enough to do what is right. One of Jimmy`s best movies. Thank you very much for uploading this gem :)

❤Thank you Chiller Theater for uploading this entertaining and suspenseful picture❣ This is the only picture wherein Richard Conte portrayed a nice gentleman. Usually Richard Conte pirtrays a disreputable character, such as when he costarred with Susan Hayward in, "I'll Cry Tomorrow." Conte portrayed a real genuine cad in, "I'll Cry Tomorrow," so much so, that i actually began to hate him. Good actor ~ he portrays a louse very well!

I always loved watching this picture! I like the fact that it’s a true story. It’s unfortunate that our media or press, is no where as credible as they were in the pass.

Lee J. Cobb was excellent here, as he always was. E.G. Marshall also very good in a minor role. The two of them would team up 9 years later in “12 Angry Men”.

THAT MAN WHO WENT TO PRISON WHO WAS INNOCENT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN SOMETHING FOR BEING PUT IN PRISON WHEN HE IS INNOCENT. I CANT THINK OF THE NAME BUT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID MONEY OR GIVEN SOMETHING VERY NICE BECAUSE OF BEING WRONGLY ACCUSED OF MURDER. THATS MY OPINION.

In looking up the actual case, it appears that Frank was released first, and Zeleska was released about 4 or 5 years later. In addition to the suit and $10, Frank ended up being compensated $24,000 and Zeleska $35,000 for the incarcerations.

I was impressed with the clarity of the movie like it was made yesterday What I was disappointed that halfway through the synchronization of the dialogue matched with the synchronization of the actor's lip movement was out of sink I noticed that that happens in contemporary movies all the time now but back in the good old days this never happened So why is it that the audio is out of sync with the actors lips? WOW! That's all I have to say about this true depiction of the American Justice System! Put your FAITH in Jehovah! The the SOVEREIGN GOD of the whole Universe and all will turn out well for you. Because he will Never Forsake you no matter where you are? Wisdom dies not belong to Man, but only to him alone, and his Son, Christ Jesus, who can read the hearts of men. Thank you for sharing this gem. I hope this man had a wonderful life afterwards and his son grew up a better man. Love that one of my faves, Jimmy Stewart played the Reporter. Great job!
